You guys want a game? I'll have you something to do: the Equalitarian Smash Roster. All currently represented franchises MUST have 3 and ONLY characters(when applicable), be them Unique or Echoes.
If a franchise has more than 3, you can only cut until it goes down to 3, if there are less, you need to fill those spots with newcomers.
Additionally, you may add up to three franchises, and all must come with 3 characters.

You know, I've never wanted Heihachi in this game. But if his Final Smash seriously is picking up the character, walking to the front edge of the stage, then dropping him off the edge to his death, I'll ****ing main him.

That DLC space could be the button that goes to a custom stages menu.

With Snake and Simon in the game, I think it's only appropriate there is a Contra assist trophy.

Also I would love to see the Metal Slug appear as an assist trophy.

Yeah, I think I posted that idea before, and someone else mentioned having the Spread Gun as an item. Contra Music on Shadow Moses Island would be cool too, if they ever branch out into the larger Konami content.

Nobody in the game knew Cloud before the events of the game except for Tifa, whose memories of the attack on Nibelheim are hazy enough that she isn't really in a position to question Cloud either.

It's not at all. People are either being funny or hoping it is.

If a magazine leak is to be believed, there are 108 stages, instead of 103, meaning there's a possibility of five new stages related to new characters. But it could also mean there are just five stages that haven't been announced, and they have nothing to do with new characters. So.

The only way to still have 69 characters and 5 more stages is if they all come from preexisting franchises. Is it possible? Yeah. Is it probable? Yikes man i dunno

Uh...box theory isn’t dead until we get an additional newcomer folks.

108 stages doesn’t mean more newcomers, it means more stages.

As i’ve said, I actively want more characters in the game, and don’t give a **** if the box theory is wrong. Just to be aware of the possibility.

108 stages could be 5 stages for existing franchises, or for franchises without a playable character like...Minecraft.

Granted, if there IS a new character added that is in addition to Incineroar and Ken, then good. I’ll be glad.

But don’t say the “Box theory” is dead simply because you want it to be. That’s, again, setting yourself up for potential disappointment.

So if this new Corocoro leak is true and we are getting 108 stages, This could be the possible stages (That could represent new Characters) we get if we compare Sakurai stating he is picking the roster based off the balot (Mii Costumes and Vergeben claims)

Why is CoroCoro the first to say this when the Smash blog nor Sakurai have said a peep about 5 additional stages?



Wouldn't this have been more fitting for the next Smash direct for him to be like "Oh yeah, here's 5 more stages, now we have 108 stages!"


I don't get why CoroCoro of all places would leak this first before anyone else.

To be fair Pokemon is different than Smash Bros, but Corocoro has revealed Pokemon before anyone else.

She's pretty confused by how Cloud is acting but given that they hadn't seen each other in years she probably isn't questioning it.

But yeah, FF7's plot is insanely complicated. Hard to sum it up in a short post.

She knows something is wrong with Cloud, but doesn't understand how he knows what he does, why he doesn't know things he should, and ultimately what's made him change so much. She keeps an eye on him all game to figure it out, but remains quiet to avoid mentally breaking his spirit.

I know it's farfetched but that's the only idea I have assuming this is real.
