Snake makes sense though. Hideo and Sakurai are good friends who begged him to add Snake in Melee but couldn't due to being too late in development and so added him in Brawl instead.

Cloud though yes.

Snake only makes sense because of behind the scenes reasons. In the context of being in a Nintendo crossover game it doesn’t make sense

Dante could just as easily get in for other behind the scenes reasons like if Sakurai is a big fan of DMC. And we already have two Capcom characters, I don’t think they’d be against giving Sakurai another one

I don’t think Dante is making it in but it wouldn’t be impossible

Now that Isabelle is unique, (as I wanted her to be) can people stop assuming that every existing character should have an Echo fighter or that any candidate with the potential to be original be an Echo?

This probably even means we’re not getting as much as people expect despite being easy to make.

Finally get a chance to voice my reaction and feeling on the direct....it was meh all around for me. Sadly not at all hyped (yet) for Luigi’s Mansion 3, no actually footage or anything for the new Animal Crossing...and I’m very meh on Isabelle herself. I love the AC series I really do...but even from day one I never saw the appeal of her. Also truth be told I have no issues admitting that I’m still a tiny bit salty that she usurped Mr Nook as the face of the series...that poor poor tanuki

Honestly, it'd be super funny if Tails and Shadow were both revealed because SEGA has earned entitlement to have the most out of any third party due to its constant support and having been repped in three full games now.

Skull Kid will try and nuke the planet but Dixie will mimic what DK and Diddy did and come in clutch to whip that Moon back into orbit.

Incineroar HAS to fight Ken in a wrestling or boxing arena, that's just too good.

Bowser and Junior, meanwhile, have kidnapped Peach and taken over the Mushroom Kingdom in the Brother's absences. If it's a fact that he's guessing, you should be able to provide evidence of that. So please share your enlightening evidence with us so we can see the error of our ways.

My shadow is an echo of Captain Falcon, it won’t stop following me.

In addition, I wouldn't get hitched to any "leaker" that lacks visual confirmation.

It was pretty dull and slow, but to be fair it did match the style of the games.

It’s just compared to the super wow factor we had and the extra week wait, made it seem not very impressive.

I didn't like the fact that it was trying to play off not being a Smash trailer, but the whole team forgot that "Not gameplay footage" advisory is a big ****ing red alarm.

My point is that Verge could "leak" Barney the ****ing dinosaur and people will eat it up. And when that doesn't happen, he'll backpeddle like he always does, and his fans will just say that someone gave him wrong information.

And then there's people like me, on the opposite side of the spectrum, that will never believe a thing he says because he has already **** on any credibility he might have had by backpedaling and being flat out incorrect. He could 'leak' the entire remaining roster, word for word, and I still wouldn't trust him at his every word like his fans do, because that sets you up for disappointment. If he was wrong once, he'll be wrong again.
