EDIT: To keep things on topic, I genuinely expect Minecraft representation in the game, whether it’s an AT or a stage. If ****ing Electroplankton gets representation, surely Minecraft can as well.

I'm still a bit disappointed that Arena Ferox is the only real FE stage. Castle Siege and Colosseum are FE only by the music, there's nothing on the stages that marks them as from "Fire Emblem."

Colosseum is an actual area though, Arenas have always been a thing in FE and that's what they are, more especifically, the GBA version of them. I'd still much rather have an actual location like the Dragon's Gate.
Castle Siege is bad though, yeah.

The Castle Siege and Coliseum Stages are meant to be to Fire Emblem what the Pokemon Stadium arenas are to Pokemon. They're meant to be stages that evoke the general feel of the game without explicitly being from a certain game and I think they do a damn good job with it. Especially Castle Siege. That stage is more Fire Emblem than even Arena Ferox, it evokes the games better. And the Coliseum is present in a vast majority of Fire Emblem games so it represents a bug part of most if the games. I'm happy with the FE stages now. Just not back in Melee because, well, there wasn't one. :/

Yeah, when you talk about "feelings" I find that rather subjective. Objectively, the only real location from a Fire Emblem universe is Arena Ferox, which is the same concept as Colosseum. And Colosseum is hardly what I would consider a "big part of Fire Emblem" considering Arenas are just used as a way to grind enemies on the way to an actually important plot point or location.

For me, Castle Siege only feels like Fire Emblem when the floor has collapsed and we're fighting in front of a giant throne-room. That's something that happens A LOT, but fighting on a random castle wall or on top of a rock platform on a tipping volcano? I can't recall specific times that's happened.

I'd prefer an actually interesting location, rather than some vague made-up mishmash that tries to evoke some nebulous "feeling" of playing Fire Emblem.

After the ridiculously embarrassing music leak for Simon, I think they're going to keep their already tight leashes even tighter.

I hope it's something crazy unexpected that was off everyone's radar on predictions, be it an unique newcomer from an existing 3rd Party franchise, a character that isn't seen as ranking highly on the ballot or just some straight up Sakurai ****ery. As much as I believe Verg, seeing leakers get credibility is the last thing I want.

The last thing I want is for everyone's safe predictions containing common newcomers like Isaac, Banjo, Incineroar to be right. I want any non-ballot newcomer that is not chorus kids or a Pokemon newcomer that would enforce people to re-think the newcomer choices they are betting and not rely on the ballot so much for speculation. We need a new breath of life to the speculation scene.

Namco's rep could easily be Valkyrie if they choose another retro newcomer, if they choose someone newer though, I'd much rather have Jin or Ling Xiaoyu than Heihachi, or even crossing over with Soul Calibur would be great. Talim, Taki, or Mitsurugi could easily make it in out of the cast considering they're the most popular of the cast

They are still very much styled after Fire Emblem, featuring many elements present in each game, particular the Colosseum, since those appear in a lot of games.
Part of the problem with Fire Emblem is that it doesn't have the most iconic locales, only really Arena Ferox and the unique look of the sealed Kingdom of Valla and the Opera House. The rest tend to just be castles, fields, forests, villages, etc..none really that unique.

Many people do not know, but tomorrow is an interesting day for Digimon and for Nintendo.
In addition to having a Nintendo Direct tomorrow, we'll have a special livestream of Digimon the next day!

Will we see Digimon Survive during the Direct from tomorrow?
Would Agumon have a great chance of getting into Smash this time?

Depends on if Sakurai views Digimon, the Tamagachi-like device, as a video game. If he does, Agumon has a chance, if not, then no. It doesn't help that I have seen almost no one asking for Agumon, likely due to many falsely seeing him as Anime and Digimon's fall from grace after the first two animes.

I seriously have to question if people actually like Gyromite because as far as I know it was a huge flop along with the other ROB game and well, ROB himself.

I liked Gyromite when I had someone else to play with. Other than that, single player was a drag and I'd image it was a drag with ROB as well. Just my opinion.

As far as the Professors Hector and Vector being playable? No. They have like 3 moves...feed mechakoopa things, fall, or get squished.

They could've gone a step further and add, for example, Daein's crest instead of a made-up crest for the flags in Castle Siege.
There's a few more places too, like the Tower of Guidance, Serenes Forest, Grima, etc.
Also not a fan of the out of place gears in the Colosseum.

This is one of my favorite LOOKING maps in FE:

It's unique, looks amazing, has an entirely different tone from the rest of the game, and plays nothing like the previous stages.
I want to see something like this in Smash, rather then "generic castle" or "generic arena"

(Now, as for the actual ingame end-game, they could've stood to use less goddamn dragons)
