I still don’t know if I want to be spoiled or not. I don’t really have the time to watch the full direct, especially if a decent amount of it will be stuff I don’t care about.

But on the other hand, what if it’s a Smash trailer for a character I want? I’d hate to be spoiled there... Or one who’s totally anti-hype, then I’ll just get bummed.

Best case would be if I just got the youtube link for the trailer and someone told me “you’ll like it.” That’s essentially what the last one was like and K. Rool came out of nowhere.

Will there at least be a place I can see the bullet points of what got announced so I can skip the trailers I don’t care about?

I think it will be largely the same as originally intended.

I know a lot of people who aren’t into Smash (I know, they’re weird, right?) were really annoyed at Smash taking over that direct. I can’t see Smash taking over this one, but I can see another fact extravaganza in early November.

They changed the titles of the videos to go in a numbered order rather than flat out saying the name of the song after that, so I doubt it.

That would make sense if this included Xenoblade 2 content. But man, I look forward to shrieking at the top of my lungs when they have the XCX music.

Top 3 Music I want in Ultimate:

1. N's Bridge - it only plays for one small area but good god is this music good, it really screams "This is it. The final battle." and it doesn't even need a remix though I would love it. I'm still sad the N's Castle Medley only has 3 tracks and N's Room is only at the start for, like, 3 seconds. All N musics are ****ing great.
2. Road Taken(Roar) - best Fates music and it's not even a contest. The map version is already GOAT but the inbattle one is even better for a Smashing. Hopefully FE get a ****ton of new tracks and this is one of them.
3. Guyzoch Space Pirates - It's hard to choose one TW101 track and I'll be good as long as Roll-Out and Jergingha Planetary Destruction Form are back but holy **** there's just so much good music in this game it'd be a shame to not have more. I like the first version of Vorkken's theme more, the second seems to be trying to be more "epic" and I just don't like it very much because of that, this one, however, is pumping adrenaline in you from beginning to end and I'd love a remix of it.

As a Smash fan, Nintendo won E3 no ****ing doubt, but Xbox's was waayyyy better than Nintendo's and Sony's if you don't care for Smash.

That's what I'm thinking as well. The only game I feel was legitimately announced early was Civ, other than that I feel like anything else that got announced last week was completely unrelated.

Like, I dunno if we'll get two, but he didn't mention Simon in the 8.8 Direct as far as I recall and Simon was the first thing they showed.

Taking into account of particular potential newcomers (Isaac, Skull Kid, Chorus Kids, Elma, Banjo, etc), how can Ninty go and **** it up and accidentally leak their own character reveals like they did with Simon and Richter?
