Tbh if the reveal is a pokemon it's gonna be so boring it's not like i hate them its just the predictable character that always comes every game.

But if its a character you want congratz

I pretty much feel that way, yeah. I am 100% in the group of people that would much rather attention be given to series like Zelda, Kirby, or a new franchise. Pokemon are fine, I just personally can't get excited for them anymore. To each their own, though!

That's how I feel. Now feels like the best time to reveal a Pokemon newcomer. It may be just me but I don't think a Pokemon newcomer reveal in a final Smash direct really hits the mark. A Pokemon here just feels natural. If not here Idk where else.

I could maybe see one as an opener for the final Direct, but as a closer? Nah, not really.

Also I like that Lip and Shantae are in the final picture! Makes me proud, because whoever was trying to finish it, he or she knew that there were still Lip/Shantae fans. The latter I did expect slightly, but the former not. Panel de Pon seems a bit obscure now.

He's been preaching that "SKULL KID'S IN!" since August, and if he really is a script translator, that would explain why.

The thing I don't 'get' about Loz is that;


Okay, let's do a thought experiment here and say he's legit, but just being an *** about it.


Why does he basically go out of his way to disagree with all the points that Vergeben has made, when Vergeben has been right up to this point?



And then it kind of hit me.


Loz has mentioned something about 'scripts' in the past, meaning that whatever he actually 'does', if anything, probably has something to do with translating.


So in theory, of course he wouldn't know why Vergeben has said characters like "Isabelle, Ken, Incineroar", if he hasn't actually worked on any documents that involve them yet. If they're to be shown in the final direct, then up til now, he probably wouldn't have ever known about them being in the game.


This would explain why he'd supposedly know about K.Rool and Skull Kid soo early on, due to working on their scripts, and why he's soo adamant about no Isaac.

You know, 4Chan is a nasty, nasty place, but sometimes, they're alright when enough people agree on something. I do like how the darker black coloring makes Black Shadow and Shadow stand out from the rest.

If Isaac ain't gonna be in this Smash Ultimate, than Eminem will destroy MGK with his response, Logan Paul will change to be a better person and world peace will be found. Hell, I'll do Ursula's side quest in Xenoblade 2 TWICE. Let's just raise ALL the stakes in the world.

I'd even say that GOTHITELLE will be in Smash if Isaac isn't.

Unless Nintendo basically btfo's Loz as the next reveal, Skull Kid feels all but confirmed at this point.

The only character that was all but confirmed beforehand was Inklings, and even then they were in the earliest of early speculation talks because the game wasn't even revealed at that point.

Skull Kid definitely has evidence in his favor, but I wouldn't say he's basically guaranteed.

Game songs with lyrics are my weakness. There's basically no chance of it happening, but I want the lyrical version of Ryu's Theme from the Street Fighter Tribute Album in Smash so badly.

He didn't say he wasn't playable, just that he wasn't the reveal, nor Geno, Shantae, a Pokémon, or Tekken.

seems fake though because loz usually has a LoZ / Skull Kid pic, not samus.

but yeah he has said he didn't know about Isaac previously...and on his twitter he seemed to hint at an announcement at 10 AM EST tomorrow.
