I'd be fine with it if she just sounded disappointed, but those lines sound way too hostile when voiced. I actually don't like Smash's interpretation of Lucy.

Smash Wii U DLC were wild times. Also slightly disappointing times, but that's just my opinion.

At least I'm glad the "Pichu will be the last DLC, you'll see" days are behind us.

Here's the problem, though.

-it looks the exact same-
"They just ripped the sprites; fake"

-it is different in any way-
"It's not the same; fake"

There is literally no way to handle Joe that people wouldn't immediately denounce it as fake.
At least changing things up (which tends to be done for all characters in Smash) makes it more "realistic" in my eyes than just literally being the same exact sprite from one of the games.

Hmm... I think that's a bit unfair. There are aesthetics choice in Smash that don't agree with 90% of leaks, this Joe one being one of them. And there's also the fact that it's poorly drawn. "But Karate Joe is already poorly drawn!!". Nah. He's made to be poorly drawn, but Ko Takeouchi knows exactly what he's doing. Here's he's just poorly drawn, period. Very off-model too.

It’s more likely we’ll get Elma, due to the finalized roster timing. Rex/Pyra are more likely to be DLC, unless by some miracle Sakurai saw their popularity and decided to put in a little more work to make them base as well

To add to what MSmariosonic is saying, I think you have to wait a bit to become able to post images from your hard drive, not sure what the trigger is though (I think you have to make more than 10 posts or something?).

I myself had to go to Forum Support and ask an Admin to enable Image Uploading for me (after 10 days of waiting for it to activate), I'm not sure if this is a common issue or not, but if you go a while without seeing the "Attach Files" in the bottom left of the posting area (and get error messages when you do it through the "Insert Image" button MS circled in his post), you'll have to do what I did.

To add to what MSmariosonic is saying, I think you have to wait a bit to become able to post images from your hard drive, not sure what the trigger is though (I think you have to make more than 10 posts or something?).

Me, having the odd tastes I do, probably would've been completely okay with that, lol.

Honestly, the DLC wasn't bad, there just wasn't a lot for me personally. Mewtwo and Lucas were the only things that got me really excited back then, unfortunately. I was also one of the people that was kinda salty about the ballot, but it's all in the past now. Ultimate is shaping up to be my dream Smash Bros. game. If I can get just one more character off my wishlist, it really will be perfect for me.

I have no opinion on Skull Kid either way thanks to chairs.
Isaac's okay, but I'd only be extremely hyped if he's got the beard.
I've really warmed (heh) up to Incineroar, so that'd be neat.

I’d be happy for Isabelle and Isaac, and sorta meh but happy for their fans, for the other two.

Unpopular opinion: I feel like this is too safe of a bet and that at the very least two of the first three may be saved for a Smash dedicated direct, especially Isaac if him being in is due to the Ballot.

Sakurai has always considered Mewtwo an antagonist in Smash, even before Melee.

Reading comprehension is hard, I know, but you even copied the "translation note" bit, how did you miss the fact it's the TRANSLATOR, not Sakurai, calling Mewtwo a villain?

Sakurai did call him a villain. The word 悪役 (akuyaku) means villain.
