Yeah, reactions that aren't staged/are impossible to stage are the best ones. It's why I've never really understood the appeal of Etika. I've never seen any of his stuff, but fake screaming and breaking stuff isn't endearing IMO.

Not sure how many people here have heard of them, but I like watching Antdude and Failboat react to Nintendo stuff. Antdude is pretty chill, and while Failboat is energetic, his excitement always feels genuine.

What if I told you this was one of the reasons I'm hyped for Ridley? "Oh cool another Charizard-like character I can play as!"

I'm so jealous of Riddle's F-smash. Zard needs to utilize his own fire breath more.

Yet they didn't allow Little Mac to punch Peach until he became playable in Smash. Granted, DK was a pretty great tradeoff.

I mean, this is kind of the reason I want an obscure as **** character like Deathborn to get in. I want to know how they'll have to fake it out, because F-Zero GX is the least known out of every F-Zero game.

You realize echoes can have altered properties on their moves so long as their general movesets stay the same, right?

Dark Pit can't angle his arrows as much as bit, Lucy and Chrom don't have tippers, Dark Samus's morph bomb jump sends her more forwards then upwards, ect. Not to mention that Chrom has a completely different Up-B then Roy altogether. They could easily make those changes and keep Ken a semi-clone.

I guess ur right. So question.. wtf is the difference between an echo and a clone?

I'm bored and thought I'd share this idea with you all.

While I'm not the biggest fan of Incineroar, I think he'd potentially bring a pretty neat trailer:

The trailer starts off with Little Mac sparring with Ryu in the ring. After some time passes a shadow approaches the two fighters. Both Ryu and Little Mac look over in shock to see Incineroar standing there with a smug look on his face.

At this point, gameplay of Incineroar is shown with it ending with his final smash on Ryu and Little Mac. After the gameplay trailer, the CGI trailer continues with Little Mac KO'd and Ryu barely able to stand. Ken jumps into the ring to take Ryu's place and fight Incineroar.

... I left out a lot of detail but hopefully you get the point. Ken for Smash.

I'm thirsty for some Nintendy Direct juice.

That's actually a very good question. We don't really know exactly where the line is drawn, but it's probably somewhere between Chrom and Dr.Mario.

Besides the name, Character Properties.

From what we know, Echoes seem to have to have the same height, weight and movement speeds as their counterparts.

To be honest that was kind of how I was, like many others I knew of that opening scene, but having only played games with Simon in them I tend to get the other Belmonts mixed up quite a bit. I just knew him as the SotN Belmont really.

I really should get around to playing that game btw.

I like it a lot! Good way to introduce both those characters, although you NEED to have Ken and Ryu do the fistbump before he steps in.

Exactly. I can understand reacting if she proceeds to do something cool in the trailer, but I doubt anyone who has never played that dead Famicom game would be hyped for her to the point of 2 minutes of screaming and proclaiming this is the best thing ever unless they had too much to drink.

I did not really get the appeal of Hawkeye in Avengers until I read the comics. He's just a guy with a bow, but after reading, you understand the weight he carries and are hooked at every appearance he makes on screen

Gonna be honest, I never knew Richter said the line before, because the only reason I knew about the line in the first place was because it gets referenced a lot. All I knew was that the line was from a Castlevania game, and that It involved Dracula.

I was incorrect on the weight. But even a pixel deconfirms echoes having the same height.

(Also it's more than a pixel unless you're running your Wii U on a 480i monitor.)

How the **** did Mewtwo go from being heavier than Falcon and Pikachu in Melee to the second lightest in Wii U/3DS?

He has one of the best projectiles in the game, amazing ground and air mobility, and the single best air dodge in the game.

I'm personally thankful he's so easy to kill, and this is coming from someone who uses Mewtwo as his secondary.
