Even if these are the same or roughly the same, that doesn't change the huge amount of differences they have. Like Wolf, Lucas is far more unique than clone.

Lucas a costume of Ness? Ugh. I'm not call anyone stupid as a tempting as it may be, but it's obvious that people don't think for even ONE second when they stuff like this.

So first of all, Lucas doesn't have a Yo-Yo. Second of all, he's already a two time veteran. Nobody would stand for this. The whole point of costumes becoming separate characters is that there are too many differences, as little as they may be.

Just like Pit & Dark Pit can't share the same Final Smash, Neutral Special, Taunts, or Victory Theme, Shadow can't share more than half of Sonic's animations. Sonic's running animation, taunts, idle pose, victory poses, up special, and most of his basic non-special moves.

Smash for Switch has been revealed!
Here comes the excitement posts, and yes, Inklings are in Smash for Switch.

Man, I wasn't expecting them to have some Smash news shown at todays Direct, so basically a new version is in the works with the Inklings joining the fray!

Timetable means it’s a port.

Added character means it’s a DX port.

Expect more additions than inkling, and possibly a new round of dlc.

Additions of inklings and Breath of the Wild Link, I doubt they’ll stop there. So port with new characters, new costumes.

Probably add the 3DS stages and possibly smash run.

Which would make this feel like a sequel

One of the rumors about Smash is... it was unknown if it was a port or new game. The trailer is the same issue. Maybe that factor wasn't so farfetched? Heh.

I'm still banking on it being similar to the jump from Splatoon to Splatoon 2.

In that it won't be treated like a port but as a brand new Smash Bros, but it'll still have very similar visuals and a similar engine to the Wii U Smash Bros.

That's my gut feeling anyway.

Anyway, super excited but also kinda wary about getting my hopes up too much.
