I politely disagree. Bugs Bunny isn't so much a part of Loony Toons as the face of Loony Toons, in the same way that Mickey is the face of the characters surrounding him (Goofy, Donald, Pluto, etc.) that are also widely known. Bugs Bunny needs only a silhouette for most anyone in the modern world to know who he is, in similar fashion to Mickey.

Superman is a different kind of recognizable, in that he embodies the entire superhero genre. People know who Superman is because they know who superheroes are, and he's the default one. I would still put Bugs above him in "the only one who actually comes close to Mickey" territory, just above Supes and Mario.

On some extra research, yeah I should move move Bugs to S.
But I feel this is somewhat offtopic so if people want to keep talking about it I'll start conversation.

Nah Cloud is the example of how as long as you're a massive gaming icon you've got a fair shot. It's why I don't exactly scoff at the idea of Master Chief

TWEWY was, hands down, the game that best utilized the DS's gimmicks. I'd be more than okay with him just for that, and the sweet music...

This is more of a children's cartoon thing, but yeah, there's no denying Homer is THE face of adult animation.

So normally I'm really conservative when it comes to my predictions and try to play it as safe as possible. My only real prediction for Smash 4 was Palutena and my only one for 5 was Inklings. But you know what? I'm a Charizard main - a Flare Blitz and F-Smash machine. Where's the fun in life if I don't go far a hard read every once in a while?

We know that the new game mode is important enough to tease beforehand. We also know that Ultimate has been in development for longer then Smash 4 has, has had a larger staff then Smash 4 did, is built heavily off of Smash 4 as a base, and probably won't be getting any more unique newcomers then Smash 4 did. So what are all those resources going towards? Prediction: Those resources are being used to fix the biggest problem Smash 4 had as a game - a lack of a solid single player mode.

"Spirits" Mode, if that is what it's really named, is going to be a new Subspace Emissary with more heavily improved and polished level design. It will feature returning subspace enemies as well as many of the enemies seen in Smash Run. However, it will have little to no story and as such will also go very light on cutscenes. It may not even use CG cutscenes of any sort. This mode will also be the "streamlined" process of unlocking characters. It will feature both traditional boss fights (Rathalos, Dracula, Master and Crazy Hand, perhaps a new Giga Bowser fight that works similarly to the Master Giant) as well as playable characters serving as bosses (Metal Mario, Giant Ridley). Since there is no real story, you can play any segment with any character you've unlocked so far, even if they were unlocked through other means such as amiibo. It's going to be made with replay ability in mind as well, so levels can have their difficulty adjusted through the Fiend's Cauldron system seen in KI:U and Smash 4. And it's going to be awesome.

Now watch my metaphorical, unsafe F-smash be a total wiff as absolutely none of this turns out to be true and I end up disappointing myself. Man I really hope that new Giga Bowser fight I just dreamed up is actually a thing...

Topic: Should Dragon Quest XI be a huge success in the West (The game came out today), in the scenario a Dragon Quest character gets chosen for Smash for DLC content, which protagonist do you think will get in? Erdrick or the Hero of DQ11. Sakurai seems to put protagonist that are more well known in the West like Cloud and Lloyd (As a Mii costume), so the DQ11 hero might take priority, but DQ3's importance in gaming history might make Sakurai choose Erdrick over DQ11. What do you guys think?

Personally I prefer Erdrick (DQ3) or Eight (DQ8)

I think Erdrick would be chosen over the DQ11 Hero because he's probably the only DQ Hero who has a name and because the first three games were collectively called Erdrick Trilogy.

Maybe the Dragon Quest stage could be Zenithia from the next three games! They were collectively called Zenithia Trilogy! It is a castle in the sky!
