That's completely ignoring multiple factors, new copies of Colour Splash can still be found in bargain bins for rather cheap prices, which gives the implication someone bought the game, didn't really like it and wants some cash back. 1000 Year Door however, is a game that came out 3 console generations ago and funny enough, is the ONLY Paper Mario game to not be available digitally. Here's some more examples that prove you're being stupid, Fire Emblem! Path of Radiance can fetch up to over 300 ****ing dollars on Amazon. Is it because it's REALLY good? No, it's because it was a low print game that ****ing flopped and has no way to get legal alternatives, Fire Emblem and Ike himself are significantly more popular now sk there's newfound interest Nintendo simply doesn't want to satisfy. More Fire Emblem comparisons! Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon is another low print game that sold bad initially, on ebay, the prices can go up to over 100 dollars. Awakening, an objectively better game in literally every area, only reaches high prices when it's the 3DS Collector's Edition that comes with the game, like the Majora's Mask 3DS that someone microwaved. SPEAKING OF ZELDA! Ocarina of Time doesn't go for the same prices as the CDI games, I guess that must mean the CDI games have more value as video games you play than the game that helped revolutionize 3D gaming! I honestly doubt Fire Emblem is getting any more past this point, even for the obligatory ad spot the series is being more known for. Sakurai voiced his own concerns in the past, and I feel like Chrom was just an exception due to him originally being planned for 4 anyway before getting stepped aside for his kid.

Color Splash is not a bad game, but Color Splash is no where near as good as Paper Mario the Thousand Year Door or even Paper Mario for the Wii.

Though having Happa -> Hanamogura -> Hanaryu as an evolutionary line would be neat if you made new designs with new typings based on their names.
A Grass/Ground Pokémon evolving into Grass/Dragon one would be neat, if a bit nonsensical.
