That's not really an Echo then, is it? Or are Echoes just with similar properties off of the characters they're basing in weight?
Chrom made things too complicated, his inclusion was a mistake.

Chrom is indeed a twisted game changer.
Still, I did just follow the game, but I really love the moveset I came up with too.
Makes Black Shadow seem more interesting in regards to just being a full Dark Pit type of echo.

eh, tails very much feels like a character that should be unique, tails is a character that relies much more on gadgets and other weaponry than actual hand to hand combat

He can work as both.

In the earlier games he was just as hands-on as Sonic, later games gave him the tech approach.

those were the earlier games though where he had no real defined personality or abilities other than flying, having tails be a sonic echo now would be weird imo.

Here's a fun game for you all.

Create a combo echo similar to Chrom. The proportions need to be similar to another character, but you can borrow attacks from other fighters regardless of proportions. Bonus points for cross-series efforts.

For example, Liquid Snake as a Snake echo. However, one of his specials will be the Duck Hunt one where he summons the outlaws. However, they will instead be guards from Shadow Moses Island. Instead of shouting "draw" they'll do the iconic "!" alert noise.

Toad - Doctor Mario echo (so he plays like a heavier Mario. Sadly this sacrifices his speed, which is supposed to be his trait)

Borrows Luigi’s running attack, Peach’s Down B (turnip), K. Rool’s propeller Up b (his just looks like a propeller hat) Peach’s B neutral (instead of pulling out a Toad, he just spores himself), luigi’s A neutral combo), Bowser Jr’s side b (just actually gets a kart instead of wheels on his mech)

That was not nearly cross franchise enough.
Impa - Greninja echo.

She gets greninjas ninja like attacks and aerials, but borrows Sheik’s B moves. The smashes greninja has where he makes water blades just use actual blades from Impa.

I've always found Akuma much more interesting and cool than Ken, but that's just me.
Also if he gets in he would be in Smash and Tekken but not Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite, which I find infinitely hilarious.

So with Tuesday always being the day we get new Smash music, that's also the day where the Nindies Showcase happens.
Who was an underground, yet frequent "indie" character to be requested over the years.

Other than the fact that everyone is trying to convince everyone else that their opinion is better when as far as I can tell everyone agrees, none of the current discussions have anything for me, So I wanted to ask, If you had 100% control over Smash ultimate charecters what would you do? Most notably, I would add Octoling skins for Inkling, while un-standardizing the amount of charecter skins, (some need more than 8 some don't), and addin Tails, Eggman, Shadow, Monika, and Cuphead as full charecters. Because I am a madman. I would also buff Wii Fit trainer to be the best charecter in the game, see previous statement.

I'd add the entire Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE vocal OST. And no, I wouldn't limit it only to Fire Emblem levels. It'd be playable in every stage. Including Hanenbow

Each stage now has a playlist that can hold infinite songs, and any song can be added to a stage's playlist. This means music is completely unrestricted. All songs are reverted to their uncut versions. Gangnam Style can play on any stage regardless of what song is selected 20% of the time and cannot be turned off.

Probably also Madoka Magica music.
