Here's a fun game for you all.

Create a combo echo similar to Chrom. The proportions need to be similar to another character, but you can borrow attacks from other fighters regardless of proportions. Bonus points for cross-series efforts.

For example, Liquid Snake as a Snake echo. However, one of his specials will be the Duck Hunt one where he summons the outlaws. However, they will instead be guards from Shadow Moses Island. Instead of shouting "draw" they'll do the iconic "!" alert noise.

Dixie Kong.

Echoes Diddy Kong, sharing his proportions and most of his neutral, smash and aerial attacks. She is slower and floatier.

Neutral B - Diddy (using bubblegum pellets instead, from DKCTF)
Side B - Diddy
Up B - Peach (Using her hair)
Down B - Diddy

She also has a tether grab involving her hair and DKs cargo throw.

As an editor at SmashWiki, I feel so bad that they have to deal with vandals so much. Seriously, someone really tried to say Ridley's canon name is Jeffrey H. Ridleyson, with their username being JeffreyHRidleyson729.

Tails (Sonic echo)

• His Up special would be K. Rool's propeller, but adapted to be his tails (idk how that could be worked out but hey, I'm not considering proportions)
• His Side smash would be Mega Man's. Visually it would be that red cannon he uses in Sonic Battle
• using the same cannon, his Down-B would be... That Mii Gunner one where he shoots a bomb on the ground. The bomb could be one of those fake rings from Sonic Heroes
• Final Smash could be similar to Snake's but visually altered to implement the Tornado

Magnus from Kid Icarus Uprising using Ike as the main body and Shulk for moves. Basically, his idle, walking and running stances are from Kid Icarus Uprising, he uses all attacks from Ike except for his Up Air, which since Aether is only from Fire Emblem, Magnus gets Air Slash from Shulk. Also, for Magnus' Eruption like move, the fire is replaced with wind and it's way of charging is done similarly to Wario's Down B, as it is a reference to Kid Icarus Uprising Charge attacks.

Basically, when the attack hasn't been used, it slowly charges up. At non-full charge, it creates a gust of wind(which gets bigger depending on charge) around Magnus that pushes enemies away without damaging them. However, when the attack is at full charge and ready to use, it summons the Tornado the Magnus Club spawns from Uprising. It then pulls in enemies rather than pushes them and those who are caught get continually damaged for 1 and a 1/2 to 2 seconds, than launched after the Tornado finishes.

That's my Combo Echo Fighter.

The funny thing is, Ridley is already a normal (even if uncommon) name, so Jeff isn't that much more outlandish when you really think about it.

Zero is also added and removed from AT status.

Hell yeah. Zero and Chrom were my most wanted newcomers. I'm over the moon that Chrom is in, so I can't complain too much, but man, I'd love Zero as a playable character. I even have an entire moveset planned out in my head haha.

I'd love it if his moveset was a mixture of both MMX and MMZ incarnations, with costumes split 4 and 4 between both designs. Typically MMX Zero gets more recognition, but I love his MMZ design the most, and those games were absolutely fantastic.

I wasn't before but now I am, Falcon is overwhelmingly the most fun charecter to play, why can't he or some version of he be tier?

Other than the fact that everyone is trying to convince everyone else that their opinion is better when as far as I can tell everyone agrees, none of the current discussions have anything for me, So I wanted to ask, If you had 100% control over Smash ultimate charecters what would you do? Most notably, I would add Octoling skins for Inkling, while un-standardizing the amount of charecter skins, (some need more than 8 some don't), and addin Tails, Eggman, Shadow, Monika, and Cuphead as full charecters. Because I am a madman. I would also buff Wii Fit trainer to be the best charecter in the game, see previous statement.

Well, first I’d definitely put Dovahkiin in.

I’d love to see Tails as well - I actually like the older Sonic moveset so I wouldn’t mind if he were unique or echo, he’d just need a Peach float with his helicopter tails and a spin dash where he turns into an orange ball with tails.

In terms of character changes, I’d make Link back into a lefty and give him mostly full alternate costumes rather than just recolors. He’d get the Champions Tunic, his Hero of the Wild tunic, the TP tunic, TP Dark Link, BotW soldier outfit (without the helm - it’s ugly), the HW Fierce Deity outfit, TP Magic armor, and OoT Zora tunic. Plus the TP sumo pants since it’d be funny.
Zelda would go back to the TP look as default. Her alts would be the LBW dress, her BotW gown, BotW prayer dress, LBW casual dress, OoT dress, SS dress, and her HW dress. She’d also still be able to transform into Sheik, which would be properly balanced, and be the best way to play by switching.
Ganondorf would basically be his HW incarnation. He’s also have his OoT armor, TP armor, and BotW Desert Voe armor as alts.
Due to all of these changes, Young Link would be the one receiving a new moveset, and it’d be mostly MM inspired.

Also, Midna and/or Urbosa would find her way into the roster as well.

Not exactly the most original idea but a hilda echo of zelda with palutena's forward tilt, down tilt and down air is just too good to pass up

Neutral B - Mewtwo's Shadow Ball. <-- Black Shadow is known to use black magic.
Side B - Same as falcon with a bit more power.
Up B - Same as Ganondorf with an explosive "dark magic" effect.
Down B - Focus Punch like Ryu does. (Could focus like Warlock Punch, but I for more crossovers)

Final Smash: Black Bull. Similar to Captain Falcon.

that would be extremely unnecessary imo, I don't think there should be too many more echoes to begin with but sticking multiple on the same character would be a little much

That's not really an Echo then, is it? Or are Echoes just with similar properties off of the characters they're basing in weight?
Chrom made things too complicated, his inclusion was a mistake.

I don't think it's impossible until they say it is.

eh, tails very much feels like a character that should be unique, tails is a character that relies much more on gadgets and other weaponry than actual hand to hand combat

I wouldn't mind if the Echoes had key differences between themselves (like say if Daisy and Pauline were Echoes of Peach. Pauline having a different neutral special and Final Smash could do it well for me)
