He also had some GBA and DS games too.
Plus the two games we don't talk about that had releases on the Wii.

Well, the PS2 version did come out first, so I guess it's understandable why people would think that.I thought Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex only released on PlayStation 2, huh.
Well I guess disregard my comment then.
And given your last post, EarthWorm Jim (or anything from that old claymates studio) has got to be some of the cheapest rights you can get this side of clay fighter. I bought the DS port of the original. That studio couldn’t have paid much.Nothing makes jaws drop like third party reveals and Nintendo knows it.
The studio that currently owns Earthworm Jim (Interplay) is selling all of their IPs. However, the stipulation is that they are being sold as a single asset, so whoever is buying Interplay's IPs has to agree to buy ALL of them. And given your last post, EarthWorm Jim (or anything from that old claymates studio) has got to be some of the cheapest rights you can get this side of clay fighter. Heck, they could make him first party if they wanted.
He didn't have anything in 1996. His first game came out in 1994 and his second was in 1995, same year as Yoshi's Island and Diddy's Kong Quest. Then he had a cartoon series in the same year and we didn't see another new game of his until EWJ3D in 1999.Considering it’s not 1996 I really doubt we get Earthworm Jim, like, ever.
What Metorid bias we will get when Ridley had been completely shot down and I don't see any of the hunters being in a better position?Unrelated, but Bandai Namco is apparently working on Metroid Prime 4.
Now watch people complain about Metroid bias next Smash xD.
Sylux being the next main antagonist won't make a difference. If he were the antagonist of the overall series then he'd have a chance. Being the antagonist of whatever the newest installment is doesn't seem to be a character that usually ends up in Smash. What Metorid bias we will get when Ridley had been completely shot down and I don't see any of the hunters being in a better position?
Well except maybe Sylux IF he's the next main antagonist.
Yeah, hence why I doubt Namco having to do with Metroid Prime 3 would automatically mean Metroid bias.Sylux being the next main antagonist won't make a difference. If he were the antagonist of the overall series then he'd have a chance. Being the antagonist of whatever the newest installment is doesn't seem to be a character that usually ends up in Smash.
The N. Sane Trilogy is selling like water, i think it's safe to say Crash is regaining his popularity right now.One third party that people seem to not talk about as much is Crash Bandicoot. If he was added it would make the perfect "rivals" fit, Mario ( Nintendo ), Sonic ( SEGA ), and Crash Bandicoot ( Not from Sony but rather a large symbol of the early PlayStation days ). Crash Bandicoot may not be as popular as he once was but the way I see it, it would be really interesting and surprising to see him in the game. Crash Bandicoot does have low chances because he does not have many support compared to other third parties and he would face a lot of competition from other third party characters.
Thing is, it's hard to read sarcasm on the Internet without emotes whatsoever. You realize I was kidding, right?
I agree. Sakurai bias is only a myth; not to say that it doesn't exist, but everyone, no matter who you are, is going to have bias towards the stuff you want when you make a game. It is almost impossible to make a Smash roster without showing some degree of bias.Honestly, I still think Sakurai's "biases" are often blown out of proportion by fans.
That's an understatement.Honestly, I still think Sakurai's "biases" are often blown out of proportion by fans.
Banjo or Master Chief. The great question though is:
Which feasible third-party character could at least generate as much hype as , and did?
Probably someone who's heavily requested, like Rayman or Banjo & Kazooie, or someone who's just a flat-out gaming celebrity, like Master Chief or Steve from Minecraft. The great question though is:
Which feasible third-party character could at least generate as much hype as , and did?
Don't really see Shulk getting the boot. Then again, I don't see Xenoblade Chronicles 2 getting playable representation as very likely so who am I to say?I really doubt Shulk's not gonna get replaced by Rex & Pyra. I don't think the "face of the series" thing really applies to him as much as Marth or Ness. Xenoblade getting in Smash was generous on its own anyway.
Rayman or Bomberman I guess? but honesty I don't think they really need to. They don't have to keep one-upping themselves. Smash Bros sells like hot cakes anyway, they just gotta keep adding new characters and keep the game feeling fresh and fun and people will buy it.The great question though is:
Which feasible third-party character could at least generate as much hype as , and did?
Yes so in 1996 he’d be riding off two games and a tv show. It’d be the best year for him.He didn't have anything in 1996. His first game came out in 1994 and his second was in 1995, same year as Yoshi's Island and Diddy's Kong Quest. Then he had a cartoon series in the same year and we didn't see another new game of his until EWJ3D in 1999.
Crash, Master Chief and the fella from Minecraft are the only ones that spring to mind that would generate universal, mainstream hype. Maybe Bomberman as well. The great question though is:
Which feasible third-party character could at least generate as much hype as , and did?
Wait, what about ?Characters who are the main stars of games.
In that case, what of the Pokemon characters?Characters who are the main stars of games.
Master Chief, Sora and Steve come to mind. The great question though is:
Which feasible third-party character could at least generate as much hype as , and did?
Just Baby Mario. The winner of the last poll was none other than Lanky Kong. Probably because of the potential with his abilities ordeadmemes. Donkey Kong Jr. was pretty close for that retro appeal, while Tiny and Stanley's followings were nonexistent.
Next up is another controversial one, the idea of Yoshi newcomers despite it being a long shot in the end. Your picks would be either Kamek, the Baby Mario Bros (Yes, Baby Mario and Baby Luigi), Poochy, and Shy Guy.
There was a problem fetching the tweet
Have fun.
I know that there are cases where some want Baby Mario to stand on his own as a character, just that the duo idea is the most popular as far as I see.Just Baby Mario.
eh personally I just think that would make Ice Climbers less unique if they come back too, but that's just me.I know that there are cases where some want Baby Mario to stand on his own as a character, just that the duo idea is the most popular as far as I see.
And if we think about it, Baby Mario does have more significance than Baby Luigi (who was a baby in distress in the first game).
