I say a quick cinematic where he transforms everyone into deku scrubs and then proceeds to trash them..

I think it should be a cinematic trailer that has the moon crashing into Termina. Like how K Rool has the cinematic of destroying DK Island.

Doesn’t seem to be hard concrete evidence, but it’s enough to get the ball rolling.

We still have some iconic ATs left they have to show since they probably couldn’t fill out all of them in the direct, so let’s what happens in the next AT showing (or blog updates).

I mean … if he is not playable character, what would he do as an AT that is not connected to the moon anymore? Just a thought…

So after some brief research I learned about two characters who wielded the Buster Sword before Cloud. They are Zack Fair and Angeal Hewley. Maybe they could be Cloud echoes? Keep in mind I know barely anything about FF.

Just what he did as an AT in Smash 4.

I mean the moon and Skull Kid are iconic in their own rights so it’s not like they need to be interconnected somehow.

Ok so…this whole thing of him not being part of the moon AT being a possible hint of him being playable has just been a waste of time because we all forgot skull kid was never part of it to begin with, lol… welp at least there are other things, including the leaker mentioning him, that still gives me hope he makes it in.

I don't see HOW in the world would young link use his final smash against someone with the HELP of Skull kid. It's like Adult link having a final smash that includes Ganondorf in it…just… how? makes no sense. Someone enlighten me on this.

My idea was Fierce Diety and Majora go at it with victims caught in middle. Although I think we're getting another Triforce Slash honestly.

Either way though, YL FS not being shown doesn't really suggest Skull Kid. It's not like Robin's FS where Chrom was in it and then it mysteriously wasn't shown. And Fierce Diety FS has been the popular choice for his FS since before Sm4sh came out, and YL wasn't even in that one.

True. It just seems so weird to me that if both Vergeben and loz18 are real, you'd think that they'd be getting roughly the same info, but they've been hearing different things about certain characters

Vergeben and Loz have never conflicted yet in their information, Loz just hasn't heard anything about Isabelle or a gen 7 pokemon, and it's just his own personal speculation that he doesn't think they're in, remember to not mix up Loz's speculation with his actual leaked information.

i dont know if i said exactly that or not but id agree and say i tend to go with verge over lok18 but i do think they are both legit.

verge just seems more trustable to me or maybe thats not the right word exactly... verge seems to say his "leaks" clearly and talks about his separate sources and if hes sure of something or if hes unsure of soemthing... lok18 purposely made his account hard to follow and posts his own speculation a lot, sometimes a bit unclearly among what hes leaking, some of the original stuff in his leak was a bit fuzzy and seemed to be assumptions among real info (again i think hes real just the way he leaks is a bit unhelpful sometimes).

so while i believe both of them, verge seems cautious and used to leaking info (as hes done it before and felt the backlash) and lok18 seems a bit more all over the place about how he does things, i dunno just my opinion i dont think it makes ones info more real over the others.

for an example: verge said the source of isabelle is the same as his source for simon, so i find that highly credible. lok18 made it hard to tell if his leaker deconfirmed isabelle, if they just told him they hadnt seen isabelle, or if he just personally doesnt think isabelle will happen of his own speculation. the truth is lok18 is saying no isabelle as a bit of a combo of the last two but no solid deconfirmation such as a source seeing isabelle as an assist trophy or something, is just lok18 hasnt heard isabelle and has decided to guess for himself she isnt in.

so yeah i just find verge a bit better about that sort of thing. i still believe lok18 saying skull kid probly means we will get skull kid, so again i think they are both to some extent getting real info.

Yeah I haven't been a fan of Loz mixing his own speculation in; questionable speculation aside (I don't know how anyone still seriously thinks a gen 8 pokemon can happen in the base game), far too many times people have had to be corrected that he never claimed Isabelle and a gen 7 pokemon wouldn't be in, and now we're probably going to be getting people claiming he confirmed Dixie Kong and disconfirmed Isaac after his recent tweets.

IAnd also, while we really aren't getting more stages, we kinda have Bowser's Castle. It's the third and final transformation of the Paper Mario stage.

That stage is so unplayable it might as well not exist.

Zack Fair is definitely the best and most possible choice for an echo fighter. To be honest, Zack is more known than Angeal overall, plus Zack direct connections to Cloud in the story. Angeal being Cloud's echo wouldn't feel right really.

Skull kids final smash could simply be the first form of majoras mask and just spin across the stage with 4 other masks attacking like latios/latias.

It's be using the skeleton of Pokemon Trainer though. It'd be a Pokemon Trainer echo. Not a Charizard, Squirtle or Ivysaur echo

Thats not what the assist trophy argument is. The argument is that there is a Majoras Mask assist trophy with Skull Kid nowhere in sight and that we haven’t seen his trophy yet so its assumed his previous role was replaced.
