I actually forgot all about Banjo, lol, goes to show how much I consider him a third party, he was far and away the most voted, but Simon's still above basically everybody else.

True, but I wouldn't want them to be a pair like Ice Climbers. Maybe if you could choose between the two when changing the alts
I didn't realize they were both female when I first made them. I thought one was male and one was female because they both look a bit different

Easy, there are two Fighting Wire Frames, one male (based on Falcon) and one female (based on Zelda).
Nobody gets a random character, because I'm evil like that

I always found it kinda weird how he didn't even get to be an Assist.
I mean an Ultimate pic where it shows him with his mew coloration
Specifically, the Knight who may or may not be Zelgius is in this picture... waaaaaaaaaaay in the back.
The lighting of the stage makes the red armour look more like the Black Knight's colouration; you have to actually look at the model itself via hacking to know the armour isn't actually black.
Also, Arigarmy, don't forget that Zelgius's armour is red.

The list is just combined list of all the polls I found during the ballot. I took every source I could find and so some people might have voted multiple times on ballots. Either way, it should give a general idea of how the ballot went.

Like I've said many times in the past, I think the exit polls are inherently flawed, but I do think they're more accurate than I was willing to admit at the time.
And number 19 when you leave out Japan, which I'm willing to do if only because the Japanese data is not a true poll.

Yeah, she had 33 votes on one single poll. No other poll really had her. Her stock really has gone up.

I meant in terms of how much she has been talked about. I think people mostly thought of her as a side character at the time that the ballots were being done but discussion of her has really gone up since Nintendo started promoting her more and more. All these numbers are from 2015 during the ballot. The final update I made to it was December 3rd, 2015. Only just highlighted the current known fighters in green and assists in red.
Banjo and Kazooie are a lot higher than I thought they would be. I know it’s impossible, but I’d love to seek them. Side note, I used to follow your blog back in the Smash 4 days so it’s great seeing you here.

has stated many, many times; exit polls are dubious at best, because the Smash fanbase has way more reach than a few thousand fans on the Internet; not only that, but some of the poll votes almost assuredly overlap.

So here's how a Funky Kong Echo could work. Recycle old DK custom moves from Smash 4 and give em' to Funky. Most notably Storm Punch and Kong Cyclone to give him a wind box themed move set that reflect his job at Funky Flights.

Throw some clothes on the DK model, give him some unique idle animations to show his radical personality, have him use his surfboard with his taunts, and use the jumbo barrel as his character intro. Bam! You got yourself an easy and bodacious echo.
We already have Knuckles, all we would need is Dante From The Devil May Cry® Series to complete the holy trinity.
Always nice to see people remember the work I did. That was a long 2.5 years covering everything. Glad to just sit back and ride this one out this time rather than being glued to my phone 24/7. Now I can survive being glued 22/7 and have 2 hours for some other parts of life.

It will be interesting to see how it all plays out. This was compiled back in 2015 from several polls so accuracy might not be 100% being from smash fans mostly BUT should still give a general idea.
