So what's the deal with that Lloyd Irving "leak"? Could anyone send me a link? I don't know how I missed that since I've been lurking around for a couple hours now.

Look, in my personal opinion, I think King K. Rool just has to happen this time. I'm very confident that the voices of his fans will be heard just like the Ridley fans.

But, what is this DK rep **** that's been going on Pre-Smash 4? "There's gotta be a new DK rep! There's no way there wouldn't be a new DK rep!"

Are DK & Diddy really an insufficient representation of the Donkey Kong series? I think not. They're the only consistent characters besides Cranky Kong.

Like, what the ****?! How can DK and Waddle Dee fans seriously say with a straight face that there's no way Waddle Dee or a new DK "rep" wouldn't be added. That's exactly what happened last time!

Reading that thread with the Lloyd images, it mentions that Vergeben can be trusted, and an anon, believed to be the OP, says there is only 8 newcomers.
An another anon say this about that: "Because if it's 8 in total, that puts us at our cap: Ridley, Daisy, Inkling, Lyoid, Heiachi, Simon, Isabelle, Gen 7 rep".
How would you dudes feel about this list of newcomers?

I would be quite dissapointed, but i'll be happy to have Simon and Ridley at the very least.

I mean back in Smash 4 the only newcomers that i actually gave a crap about were Mega Man and Little Mac. Everyobody else was mostly a bonus.

Although i will say, not having K.Rool on the roster is just unjustifable at this point in my eyes.

Oh thank goodness. If there was only 8 newcomers and 3 of them were 3rd party from Namco then I would cry.

I actually would've liked for that leak to be true.

Ridley, Inklings, Daisy, Isabelle, Simon Belmont, Heihachi, Lloyd Irving, and Incineroar/Buzzwole/Tapu Koko would be a solid newcomer roster in my opinion., and that could easily be built off of with DLC characters as well.

But for real though, you need to prepare for your least favorite to get the Waluigi treatment or just not be in the game at all.

Both Dixie and K. Rool are consistent significant characters, and DK and Diddy have missed games just like they have (DK wasn't playable in DKC 2 and 3, Diddy wasn't playable in DKC 3, Dixie wasn't playable in DKC 1, 64, and DKCR, and K. Rool wasn't in DKCR and Tropical Freeze).

As for the direct I don't really know what to expect apart from a newcomer reveal. We're still 4 months away from the game's release so it seems kind of early for a massive info dump, but at the same time, we're probably not getting two directs focusing on the same game so that's really gonna be Ultimate's time in the spotlight.

Also we live in a world where a Final Fantasy character will be fighting a villain from The Walking Dead. This is literally "Goku in Smash" levels of WTF.

Not too sure what to predict who will be revealed next. Part of me wants to say we'll see two new characters, likely a newcomer and a clone. As for wants, I'm not holding my hopes high. I'd like to see something to deconfirm Vergeben, like Decidueye, but I'm preparing for the worst.

Outside of character reveals, I really want to learn more about what single player modes the game has to offer, like hopefully an Adventure mode. Or other modes such as an 'All-Star Stock' mode where each stock is a new character.

Lastly, as bad as it may sound, I'd like to see some more Assist Trophies, Poke Ball summons, and Final Smashes. Why? Because I want to know which characters are deconfirmed already. It stung to see Krystal as an Assist Trophy, but I'm glad to know of her fate early. I'd rather not hold my hopes in vein all the way up until the game releases, but learn of their fate before hand.

Yeah, I personally don't have an opinion on Lloyd and his series since I've never had any exposure to it, but with so few newcomers, if he was one along with the others that were claimed I would've been extremely disappointed.

Some at least because it's pretty apparent that cameos are going to be a big part of Final Smashes this time around. Robin is definitely the big one to look out for because of Chrom.

As I said before! We should wait until Wednesday to see what is confirmed and what isn't before we jump on the gun that states that this info is true.

As none of this has been confirmed by Nintendo or Mashed Potato Samurai themselves as of the moment I type this comment (Your all acting this is all the actual roster when nothing has been shown off yet for Iwata's beautiful sake)!

That's why I don't want to believe anything until I see official proof. Last time I was in denial, I got my hopes and expectations up too high

Remember that 17 veterans didn't get showcases in the E3 Direct. Of those, 3 () were in the demo build and 2 () have entries in the blog. That leaves 12.
