Official Smash Ultimate Discussion

Almost one month has passed since release. In retrospect....

  • This is by far the best Smash ever. Like, I don't even know how they will top this.

  • Pretty freakin' good; I have a few qualms over things like internet play, balancing issues, etc.

  • It's ok, but [insert Smash game here] is better.

  • I'd rather play Parcheesi.

Just give me Fjorm from FE Heroes and I'm good, but if somehow, by the light of the Blue Moon we get Lyn, no one will stand a chance against me online. Same goes if I get Fjorm or any character from my Wishlist.

When these Dracula posts began, I somehow knew that they would spiral into Dracula just being completely done with the Smash Bros cast's ****.

You should try Doctor Mario, PT, Snake, or Ridley. I feel like those would be interesting.

I don't know if I'll even try Ridley though, I don't know enough about his personality (more specifically, how he talks).

So I was snooping through Nintendo's Investor relations and found something mildly interesting.

So I don't know if this has ever been brought up, but how would you all feel about a potential Smash Bros. mobile game? I imagine that it wouldn't really try to mimic the gameplay mechanic of the original series since they don't lend themselves to a touchscreen very well. Not sure what the gameplay would be, maybe a collectible card game but with trophies instead of cards? I could also see them doing something like having a tie in to Ultimate if you connect to your MyNintendo account, maybe each character you unlock on mobile unlocks it on the main game as well.

This is just a thought, I think it would make sense at least from a marketing point of view, if they want to use the mobile games to expand the reach of Nintendo IPs, using smash bros. would be pretty effective.

Ya this seems to risky even for Nintendo and they hopefully learned their lesson about trying to put main series games on mobile with maro run
