Someone's already pointed out that Peach Bomber also gave you Peach's in Smash 4 as well as her FM in Smash 4 there weren't any small peaches and instead large ones. It's not debunked.

I think it's a gag that's like Peach being transformed into a literal peach and Bowser being enraged over the aftermath lol

OP is mistaken though imo, since Peach Blossom summons Giant Peaches in Smash 4. I don't think this would change in Ultimate (and we wouldn't see just one tiny peach on the field).

But Peach must use her soccer kick as a final smash

If you look a bit closely, the character model the leaker used is the same one on the Meteos cover art. Sakurai never does this.

It could just have come from the food item as opposed to Peach's FS. God I hope they didn't revert it back to Brawl FS, at least Smash 4 limited it to 3 peaches that were easy to grab. They should really just do away with the peaches, Final Smashes aren't meant to heal opponents.

I was going to say this, but even if Peach's final smash still spawns them the final smash is going to get changed in some way, as it's one of the biggest offenders of the old final smashes that dragged the game and won't fit in with the new "quick and straight to the point" final smash theme.

While that's a good catch, there's no reason to believe they weren't just put into the regular item drop. And I say that less wanting to believe the leak and more wanting Peach to get a new final Smash.

I was going to say this, but even if Peach's final smash still spawns them the final smash is going to get changed in some way, as it's one of the biggest offenders of the old final smashes that dragged the game and won't fit in with the new "quick and straight to the point" final smash theme.

Even excluding Single Character series, that still leaves Kirby, Fire Emblem, Pokemon, DK, Star Fox, and Kid Icarus. Which compared to Mario, Zelda, and Metroid, makes it a count of 6:3, and even then, that's only the case with Ultimate.

And even if you exclude Fire Emblem, which doesn't have a "main" antagonist due to the nature of its series, that still makes it 5:3.

Funnily enough, Bardock looked less like Goku in his initial designs, but then got redesigned to look more like Goku. XD

Allow me to explain.

Spoiler: DB Super Spoilers

There was a god named Zamasu who wanted to kill all mortals (for sullying the world of the gods or something), he needed a strong body to pull off the plan, so he swapped bodies with Goku (becoming "Goku Black", as dubbed by Bulma). He then travels back in time and teams up with his past self, travelling to an alternate timeline to perform a "practice run" of his "Zero Mortals Plan". This timeline is the timeline of one of the characters, "Future Trunks", who travels back in time (for a second time), and recruits Goku and Vegeta to help deal with Goku Black.

As it starts to look like Goku and Vegeta are winning, Goku Black and Zamasu fuse to defeat them, becoming "Fused Zamasu".

Well that's what I get for not looking into things on my own. Still doesn't change the fact that unless it's going back to Brawl's FS, there wouldn't be a small peach there, especially considering the fact that Peach's FS goes against the "All Final Smashes Will be Quick to the Punch" like Sakurai said.

Pokémon has Mewtwo and Kid Icarus has Dark Pit for some kind of antagonist.

January 19th 2019 will have "Dragon King" added in, a character created by Iwata for the original draft of Smash 64 before it was a Nintendo crossover. Alongside Mushroom Kingdom 64, and a stage for Dragon King.

Beyond that

Banjo Kazooie, and he comes with two stages Timber Island (Diddy Kong Racing), and Hailfire Peaks which "Stops" and "Swops" from ice to lava. Downloading him adds both Banjo Kazooie and Diddy Kong Racing trophies to collect.

Timber Island is sadly just a reskinned Isle Delphino, you can see Taj and Wizpig racing around the island in the back ground

Banjo's reveal Trailer focuses heavily on Banjo and Diddy Kong.

Rex and Pyra are DLC

as are Springman and Ribbon Girl

Beyond these no DLC characters are planned. The DLC is reserved for Dragon King (who's a free anniversary gift), and three characters who ordered too late in development to count. If fans demand DLC, there will be more beyond these.

and Isaac gets one of the Fire Emblem stages (which seems weird, but whatever)
