Design, personality, and story.

In Shadow's case, I can't say I'm particularly fond of any of these aspects...

I liked all 3 of those aspects in Adventure 2, after that...well...uh...the design stayed the same at least...

I'm personally hoping for a new Pokemon, Xenoblade, or Fire Emblem remix myself.

Xenoblade, Hyrule Warriors, as for Pokémon, just give me a better remix for Cynthia's Champion theme. Best Champion deserves a better theme.

I think we need more unfitting music. Bring back Calling to the Night and Lost in Thoughts All Alone, and add Beyond the Sky.

I'd love it if they added this.

Even better is whenever Xenoblade stages turn to night, they change to the night version of their songs.

Does that mean we could get Delibird as an echo of Isabelle? I've been wanting to play as Delibird since Melee.

To everyone, which character would you like to see being revealed next?

Personally I would like Simon Belmont to be unveiled next just to end the Vergeben leak speculation.

Amaterasu, cause a reveal could quite possibly come this month with the release of her game, and that would be her best chance other than DLC to enter Smash.

However, out of the sea of many 3rd party characters I want in this game, the 1st party character I want the most is:

Elma, (with Rex and Pyra for DLC), Elma is right on top for most wanted 1st party, and if she makes it in, I'd chose to main her instantly.

Or

Primarina for Pokémon not many are rooting for her, so I though I'd put my hat in, and support her since she's popular and my favorite Alola Starter.

Anyway, I just got home from an errand and read up on the new leak

Pretty bold to say K. Rool is an AT and give it a very soon kill-date, but hey.
If he's a gambler like me, he picked someone at random with the hopes that it lands on them and they get internet fame.

King K. Rool not being playable would be rather disappointing, but an Assist Trophy is better than nothing, and his lack of relevancy could very well keep him out.

I mean, Shadow's design is kind of cool.

I'm actually greatful for his final design. We could've gotten Sonic but with a scar and a visor or that weird robotic looking design.

Did you play Sonic Battle? He was alright there.

It's a bit bizarre if true, having the main antagonist of the series not be playable. Unless they're someone like Andross.

I mean if Dixie gets in I won't complain about a K Rool AT. I just want SOME representation for the DK series. It's so lacking.

King K. Rool has multple personas. So even if King K. Rool was playable, there's still another of his personas like Kaptain K. Rool who could be playable. After all we have 2 Marios in the game. I would say 3 Links but they are all considered different characters in canon.

But, those Mario and Links are playable. Why would you make another K. Rool an assist trophy as apposed to incorporating that into his move set?

Incidentally, I've seen a fan art with that exact reasoning for a different character (that was obviously done for fetish reasons, so I'll leave it at that).

Sakurai goes into explicit detail over the K. Rool Assist Trophy for 30 minutes, taking up an entire Nintendo Direct.

He says: "You ungrateful spoiled brats, this character would've never been in another video game again after being abandoned by his own series. Never ask me for anything ever again." Riots, in the streets forums...

It's the unfortunate side effect of translating something from 2D to 3D. The shape of her hair is wrong at most angles, but that's just because her hair is actually impossible.

I did at least fix things a little bit by getting her eyebrows to show correctly. I messaged the creator about the fix several months ago and he never got back to me.

Only thing impossible about that hair is rigging it to a preexisting skeleton.

I'm getting a hench K. Rool won't be playable. Think about it. There's Dixie Kong and it gets no better than Ridley. Ashely is the Japanese want. K. Rool than suddenly added sounds like a pipe dream. I understand Smash Ultimate is trying to be fan service focus but, its not like that.

If K. Rool isn't added now, Smash 6 will definitely be his time.

i have serious doubts over a Robobot stage anyway...why not something from Kirby's Epic Yarn? Sakurai mentioned it when talking about Kirby representation from modern games

Exactly. It's understandable why Andross was escalated as an AT - he's the main villain but he's also just a giant head, so he could never be a fighter. K. Rool in the other hand is a main villain who's far from unrealizable as a full playable character.

This seems pretty impossible. I know why she's drawn this way, it just doesn't make sense. Or maybe it does.
