Tiki as a Corrin echo might be one of the funnier Smash leaks I've read now, that is just off in so many ways

Toon Zelda would be awesome! Learning about the files of her in Brawl and hearing the rumors I’ve always hoped to see a different Zelda version like Link in Smash though I would rather have Tetra...Oh geez I'm 11 pages behind.
Anyways, I've got 17 "leaks" for you all, so here it is. Think of it as a set with super extra bonus "leak."
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate July 16th
Hello there everyone. I would like to provide some information on the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate event happening in just a few days.
First of all, I would leak to clear the air about the "Codename" leak that was posted some time ago. While that leak is not entirely false, there were some things that were incorrect. For instance.
Codename "Ponytail" will not be revealed in July, but instead after the game's initial release as a Free Update. There will be other characters like this.
Codename "King" and Codename "Doll" will be announced at this event, along with a character that was not talked about in the codename leak, Codename "Soul"
There will be a direct in September where three more characters are revealed: Codename "Fake", Codename "Warrior", and Codename "Folklore"
The reveal date of the other fighters has either not been decided on, or has not been given to me. I'm sorry I couldn't provide more information.
In reference to the widely covered 11 characters "leak." Codenames are still up to interpretation.A special announcement will be streamed on Nintendo's Instagram where the launch date of Dark Souls Remastered will be announced to be August 5th. At the end of the Launch Trailer, a Dark Souls character will be revealed for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Doesn't say much, so I don't have much to say.I know that 4Chan is not a very trustworthy source but hear me out
New fighters-
Simon Belmont: Primary attacks are using his whip and his smash attacks and specials are using a flail.
King K.Rool- His FS, he charges up his Blunderbuss and fire 3 bombs that fall onto the stage. They are about twice the size of bowser.
Shantae- Transformations are a big part of her moveset.
Decidueye- Main attacks are kicks and punches. Special attacks use arrows, down B is spirit shackle which if hit with buries you like DK's side B. FS is SInister Arrow Raid
Echoes:
Dark Samus- Sylux joins her and they both fire a barrage of missiles similar to Ness and lucas' FS.
Shadow the Hedgehog-Identical FS to sonic just less knockback and more damage.
Funky Kong- FS is sonics but slower and you are on his surfboard. You also have water that shoots out from under it which does small amounts of damage with very little knockback.
Dixie Kong- Smash attacks and FS are changed.
DLC fighters-
Confirmed-
Rayman
Crash Bandicoot
Shovel Knight
Bandana Waddle Dee
Spring man
Being considered-
Skull Kid
Waluigi
Banjo&Kazooie
Sora
Rex&Pyra
Chibi Robo
Impa
Kyrstal
Ashley
Sans
Obviously not every one here will be chosen but a handful of them will.
Sans?
Now that's funny.Newcomers:
King K.Rool, yup he's finally happening. His moveset is almost 1:1 based on his origins, neutral special blunderbuss DKC2, side is crown boomerang DKC1, down special ground pound DK64, up special helicopter DKC3.
Chorus Kids from Rhythm Heaven are in. They play like a game and watch type character. Neutral Special is a musical shout, Side Special is a sword slice, down special is a barrel with a bomb inside being kicked away, and up special is using a seesaw to go up.
Nihilego is a fighter who gets boosts in stats temporarily whenever they deal a large amount of damage in a short succession (about 60% within 10 seconds), neutral is acid spray, side is head smash, up is psywave and down is stealth rock.
Sora is a new fighter who exclusively uses Kingdom Hearts abilities, no signs of Disney refrences in his moveset what so ever. Neutral is Sonic Blade, Side is Strike Raid, Down is Ragnarok, Up is Flow Motion. To make up for the somewhat small amount of new fighters, not only are they planning LOTS of DLC, but there are quite a few echos.
Dark Samus for Samus, Ninten for Ness, Funky Kong for Donkey Kong, Isabelle for Villager, Chrom for Ike, Shadow for Sonic, Ms.Pacman for Pacman, Roll for Megaman, Dr.Luigi for Dr.Mario, Leon for Wolf, and Wart for Bowser.
Sora? PLEASE.There will be 10 fighters in Smash including Inklings, Daisy, and Ridley.
- Story Mode will return with Tabou.
- Newcomers
- King K. Rool, from Donkey Kong Country.
- Heihachi, EVO, from Tekken.
- Elma, Xenobalde Chronicles X
- Simon Belmont, Castlevania
- Dillion, Dillion
- Echo fighters
- Glass Joe, Punch Out
- Shadow, Sonic Adventure 2
- The 1st month Smash releases, Waluigi will be free DLC, but the 2nd month and so on, he will cost $10 because it's a character and a Mario tennis Aces stage.
- Waluigi isn't a assit trophy, Sakuria just trolled us, he is the joke character.
Solid roster, but Glass Joe and Waluigi ruin it.I have inside sources from a translation department affiliated with the new Smash Brothers game.
At first, I wanted to sit back and watch, seeing what your guys could come up with, but so far, no one has got it 100% right
I didn't want to post the information I had, but since /v/ is now flooded with leaks, I thought that it wouldn't hurt, given that not many would believe it. Anyway, here we go...
First off, there will be a subspace-like mode, full of cut scenes like the original. This is the 'streamlined' way of unlocking characters that Sakurai talked about. In addition, you will be able to unlock characters by playing matches or by completing certain events in classic mode (which takes inspiration from the brawl and melee versions).
There will be a new 'break the targets' mode which involves your character free-falling while breaking targets and trying to avoid obstacles.
As far as characters, there are a total of 5 that I am currently aware of. These include:
>King K. Rool
>Geno
>Excite Biker
>Ashley
>A Kirby rep (my source wasn't sure which one, but they would not be a clone)
Most of these seem to be based off of the ballot from last year, but I don't know for sure.
There are also 2 new echo fighters:
>Shadow the hedgehog
>Yarn Yoshi
In addition to all of this, most (if not all) characters will be getting a model-change costume along the lines of builder Mario and meta-Ridley.
Most of this information was made clear to me a few months ago, so more changes were probably made, not sure though.
Anyway, bring on the 'fake and gay'!
I'm pretty sure that translation departments have different procedures. I can't say which studio my source works for but enough was able to get through.
I don't know why they chose to give yarn Yoshi the echo spot. (maybe different visual effects?). As far as the small number of echo fighters, I got this information months ago, given that echos don't take long to complete i'm sure that they will have more on the way
Don't have much to say. We'll see on this one. Will happen on July 27th.
The world ends with you will get a release date.
Star Fox Grand Prix will be shown off with a release date of November 12th.
Kirby star allies will have a trailer for the new dream friends and a new hard mode.
A new Mario baseball game will be shown off.
Undertale will get a release for next year.
A port of a AAA game will be shown off.
A trailer for Yoshi’s Island: Flipside will be shown off with a release date of June,2019.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will have two trailers for new characters and smash run and smash tour will be shown off.
Vague, and doesn't say much.>List of new characters for Super Smash Bros Ultimate in the dataminer.
>King- Unlike many insiders say, this character is not King. K Roll. This character would be no one else but none other than Prince Noctis of Final Fantasy XV
>Ponytail - It would be Dixie Kong, an Echo Fighter by Diddy Kong
>Old Man- He would be the Heihachi character of the Tekken series
>Archer- The Archer is the Deciduey of Pokémon Sun and Moon, as many people had predicted
>Warrior - It would be the Simon Belmont of the Castlevania series (No news)
>Secretary- Is Isabell from Animal Crossing the same, as everyone had said
>Mech- It would be the Rex of Xenoblade Chronicles 2
>Rhythm- Rhythm is nothing more and nothing less than Marshall, character of the series Rythm Heaven.
>Folklore- Musashi, protagonist of Sushi Strike: The Way of Sushido is Folklore.
>Doll- It would be the Geno from Super Mario RPG: The Legend of Seven Stars
>Prime Ribs- This character is Ninten from the Mother series, he will be an Echo Fighter from Nes.
>Rainbow - He is Captain Rainbow, who will be an Echo Fighter from Captain Falcon.
>Surprise character - Toadette, she is not a playable character, however, she appears in a random action and will present herself as a file already unlocked or not in a random attempt in her fight. It will appear more in online games, however it can appear even in other modes how All-Stars Mode for example.
In the dataminer? Something about Toadette? Noctis? ???Yep, the roster is being passed around among certain circles. Here it is:
Newcomers
>Inkling
>Ridley
>K. Rool
>Ashley
>Gengar
>Waddle Dee
>Chorus Kids

>Geno
>Banjo & Kazooie

Same old story, same old song an-wait.
GENGAR?
Get out of here with that garbage.Nintendo Direct- August 2 - 4:00 PM EST
I will answer questions, but will not disclose my status or source of information. I am not sure on the specifics of each presentation except for 1 or 2 of the games, but I do know a semi-specific outline of the direct.
>Direct starts off with Furukawa greeting the viewers and talking about his visions for the company.
>The direct segways into a ~5 minute 3DS section consisting on updates and release dates on Luigi's Mansion 3DS, the BIS remake,
and WarioWare Gold
>The switch section kicks off with a few short sections on Dark Souls Remastered, Travis Strikes Again, Undertale, Okami, and Shovel Knight: King of Cards. The section is in headline fashion and reveals information such as content, and release dates.
>Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC is announced. There will be 2 New Cups, 8 new characters, as well as more battle mode stages for 20 USD. It releases in October.
>A deeper look at Super Mario Party for roughly 5 minutes followed by a 5 minute segment for Pokemon Let's Go.
>Following the Let's Go trailer is an announcement for a line of Pokemon funko pop figures, along with a Zelda and Mario line coming early 2019.
>Nintendo online is advertised by Furukawa, and revealed to have improved servers, as well as a lineup of SNES, and Gameboy games.
>Super Mario Odyssey DLC is announced for $20 with two new kingdoms. Delfino Island, and Sarasaland.
>A montage of various indie titles and AAA titles coming out later this year and in the month of August are shown.
>Furukawa thanks the audience for tuning in before stating that there are two more presentations left
>Animal Crossing: Urban Life is revealed for February 2019
>A Super Smash Bros. Ultimate character reveal trailer is shown for the DKC franchise. King K. Rool is revealed alongside Dixie as an echo fighter for Diddy Kong.
Feel free to ask me any questions and I will answer to the best of my ability.
Corrections to my first post:
I missed some punctuation and accidentally called Isle Delfino, Delfino Island
He answers some more questions, but nothing substantial. We'll see if this one is true or not.just got my paycheck sliced so **** you nintendo
King K Rool, Geno, Heihachi, Dark Samus, Simon, Decidueye, Ashley. DLC fighters in talks, 3rd party rep from another company in talks. Crash has come up.

Kingdom Hearts 3 and FF7 remake would be great, but I doubt this is true.Every Smash 64 Franchise except for F-Zero and Yoshi (due to lack of viable characters) will have atleast four characters

Big leak with lots of characters. If it comes true, great. Is it likely? No. Not at all.I’m excited to share this information with you all. I have some news on Super Smash Bros Ultimate. Nearly all of this information will be revealed officially between now and the game’s release.
Newcomers:
-Inkling
-Ridley
-Daisy
-Elma
-Chibi-Robo
-Ashley
-King K Rool
-Chorus Kids
-Wonder Red
-Dixie Kong
-Dark Samus
Returning Modes:
-Classic Mode returns and based on difficulty, the end boss will be either Master Hand, Master Hand + Crazy Hand, Tabuu, or Master Hand + Crazy Hand followed by Master Core.
-Smash Tour and Smash Run both return.
-Home Run Contest returns.
-Break the Targets, Board the Platforms, and Race to the Finish all
return, but only Break the Targets will be featured in Classic Mode. All three, however, will be featured in a new mode called Smash Games. This mode will entail choosing one character, and playing through all three of these games. The three then repeat until the player has lost three stock. Losing a stock in this mode can happen either traditionally by ring-out, or by running out of time.
-Boss Battles returns, featuring all the Classic Mode bosses in sequence.
-There will be a new way to unlock additional trophies, in a mini-game mode similar to Pinball.
During the Final Direct before the game launches, the following information will be revealed in regards to DLC:
-There will be fewer DLC releases overall than in Super Smash Bros for Wii U and Super Smash Bros for Nintendo 3DS.
-Spring Man, Octoling, an ARMS stage, a Ribbon Girl Mii costume, a Cap’n Cuttlefish Mii costume, and several trophies for the two new characters and the new stage will all be released as part of a DLC pack in Early 2019.
-A new, episodic adventure mode will have it’s first episode release alongside this DLC pack. It will not be a Subspace Emissary sequel, rather it is an entirely new story.
Enjoy.
I'd be disappointed at the lack of DLC releases compared to Wii U and 3DS and I doubt that this game won't have any new third parties. Story mode DLC would be cool though.Say what you will about this leak. I know, I know, it's a leak on 4Chan so it must be fake, right? The truth is, I don't have anywhere else to really post this without getting killed by Nintendo. I'm very new to 4Chan, so my apologies if the formatting is a bit wonky. I'm not one to say I have "insider info", but I do have a friend, who knows a guy that works with Bandai Namco. I don't know his position, but I know that he's confirmed some big things in the past. His track record is...a bit spotty to say the least, but like I previously stated he's confirmed quite a bit, so take this information at your own risk.
Sakurai wasn't lying when he said to not expect too many new fighters and I don't think echo fighters really count as their own new fighters. The newcomers making it in are:
>Geno
>King K. Rool and Funky Kong [DK Echo Fighter]
>Hector [He is the first axe-wielding fighter] and Chrom [Ike Echo Fighter]
-Chrom's revealed at the end of Hector's trailer and they make a reference to his quote from the Lucina trailer from Smash 4.
>Marx
-Most people think the new Kirby rep is Bandana Dee, but he appears as an assist trophy. Marx's Amiibo is going to have some special bonus when you connect it to Star Allies.
>Viewtiful Joe
>Simon Belmont
-He's revealed last as some sort of "grand finale" to kick off the game.
Other things to note:
>Like mentioned in a past leak, Minecraft is going to get representation (much to my disliking). There's going to be a Minecraft stage that functions like the Mario Maker stage from Smash 4.
>Team Chaotix from the Sonic Series is going to appear as an assist trophy using their 'team blast' from Sonic Heroes.
>Rex and Pyra are only trophies in this game.
>Paper Mario appears as a trophy as well.
Regarding DLC fighters or a story mode, I was left in the dark about that. I personally think these leaks are accurate regarding the information. Please don't get upset with me if it doesn't turn out to be true, this is merely what I've been told.
Hector would be hype AF, but I doubt that a unique Fire Emblem character would be added, even if they were an axe user.Hi. One of my relatives works for the publisher Sora and is involved with the new Smash Bros Ultimate Game. I met him during a vacation last week and he told me something about the Newcomers in private.
First of all, he isnt involve in the develop for all of them. But he allready worked on three: King K Rool, Toon Zelda and Ashley from WarioWare.
He said these Characters were chosen because of King K Rools popularity in the Community and Ashleys popularity in Japan. Toon Zelda was chosen because Sakurai finally had enough time to end this character who was planned for Brawl and Smash 4 but was cut because of time. Toon Zelda will have a unique moveset and an alternate Tetra-Costume.
The other Newcomers are Elma (Xenoblade X), Decidueye (Pokemon), Rayman, Shadow (As a Sonic Echoe) and Dixie Kong (As Diddy Kong Echoe)
So there are 11 New Characters (Included Inkling, Ridley and Daisy). 8 Newcomers and 3 Echoe Fighters.
Toon Zelda is a novel concept, and I'm interested in this one.New leak, believe it if you want I don't care:
>Direct on July 25th, about 25 minutes
>Starts with a Mario Odyssey trailer, it's similar to the E3 2017 one but Luigi's hat is on the t-rex. Luigi, Peach, and Toad are playable with their 3D World attributes. 3 new kingdoms: Delfino Kingdom, Industrial Kingdom, and Paper Kingdom. Delfino is from Sunshine, Industrial is inside a giant factory, and Paper is Rogueport from TTYD but with elements from Color Splash (Like the paint stars)
>Odyssey amiibo for Luigi, peach, and Toad
>new f-zero game, titled f-zero: XL, the cars are really big and go slower. Mario and Yoshi are guest racers.
>Yoshi game gets a title, Yoshi's Island: Flipped Out. 2019 release. Looks very similar to wooly world. amiibo support works similar to that game.
>netlix and discord apps coming in 2019
>Paid online details, you get4 splatoon stages in rotation, get 10 free SNES games as well as Mario 64 and Majoras Mask
>pokemon let's go pikachu/eevee info: shows off vermilion, celadon, and saffron gyms. Team Rocket are the "mean" rivals this time, they show up more than in yellow. Surfing Pikachu minigame is back along with others, joycon motion controls are added.
>Earthbound: Beginnings remade for switch, 2d sprites still. No word on mother 3 for US
>smash bros ends the direct, not many new details because e3 just ended but shows off special smash (New "sticky" mode where characters have reduced jumps and combos are easier to pull off), event mode (classic events from past games plus new ones), and classic mode returns (and is like 64-brawl). No word on other modes, no new stages shown off either. Ends with King K Rool trailer, but it hints at Dixie being an echo similar to dark pit in palutena's trailer was.
Kind of safe, but we'll see with this one.
Sorry if any of these leaks have already been mentioned, but I'm way behind. I'm gonna go catch up now.
Nothing that I've seen.
Anybody gonna miss Ness's old arm swinging idle animation from previous titles? I kinda like his new one, more lively and battle ready.
Still beats the Project X Zone series having an apparent allergy to cartoony characters, not even Mario was in that despite the fact it was a collab with Nintendo.
Just wanted to point out that Project X Zone's predecessor, Namco X Capcom, had Klonoa and Dig Dug in it.That's because you're entirely missing the point of Project X Zone.
Finally. They delivered what I was asking fo-Same old story, same old song an-wait.
GENGAR?
Ok, now I actually want Gengar to show up. Just to see the salt.Get out of here with that garbage.
You can get a Shadow Chao by raising a Dark Chao with a very heavy focus in the Run stat.Shadow Chao is a regular in the art:
Daddy Shadow.
He hasn't shown up in the games yet, but um... he should. I don't see why he hasn't.
I meant the one that accompanies him in the art; he seems to be like Shadow's Cheese in this artwork. You can get a Shadow Chao by raising a Dark Chao with a very heavy focus in the Run stat.
Holy S***! Dig Dug looks so sexy! WHY!Looking at the old models reminded me that when Smash 3DS came out, I saw some people calling the Ness in the game "Fake Ness" because the bottom of his shirt has a blue stripe instead of a yellow stripe like in the previous Smash games.
Just wanted to point out that Project X Zone's predecessor, Namco X Capcom, had Klonoa and Dig Dug in it.
Though in Dig Dug's case, he got a redesign (and his name changed to "Taizo Hori").
I’m not sure about that. Link has had bombs in every smash game, and it’s a good representation of the new game without alienating players who have used Link for all these years.Yeah, but the fact that the other two link's have the same recovery just makes it all the more confusing, him having the champion abilities besides mipha's would represent botw so much more then a remote bomb.
Interesting tidbit!Taino Hori is his Japanese name ever since the Arcade. They changed the name to Dig Dug in America.
I'm gonna place this here because it got covered up in other discussion and I'd genuinely like to hear your guy's thoughts on this.Weird thought, but could Ninten be considered the "Retro Character" for this game if he were to get in?
He comes from the NES-era, represents the first Nintendo RPG, and would be relatively easy to make, even if he weren't an echo.
I'd rather have someone like Lip or Ayumi, but Ninten as the retro rep could be a novel idea.
Although, in the Mr. Driller games, he goes by Taizo Hori even in the US.Holy S***! Dig Dug looks so sexy! WHY!
Also Taino Hori is his Japanese name ever since the Arcade. They changed the name to Dig Dug in America.
I'd say so. Earthbound beginnings rep AND retro.I'm gonna place this here because it got covered up in other discussion and I'd genuinely like to hear your guy's thoughts on this.
Could I get a source for this? Every place I read when people were playing the demo and now when I search say hitstun has increased from 4, I'm quite curious nowThe one major thing that needs to be changed in Smash Ultimate is hitstun because otherwise many characters will not be able to follow-up on hits as it stands. You had characters getting punished because they hit the opponent, or nearly all characters not having throw combos at any percent. I'm fine with a neutral heavy smash; but I know many people (not just competitors) like for their characters being able to have some combo game. As it stands; it will be incredibly hard to find (if not impossible) any good or sick combos in Ultimate just because your opponents is already able to act out of the basic combos that were in Smash 4. Outclassing and winning interactions are important, BUT it becomes exhausting having to constantly do that in order to damage. There needs to be more reward on hit so the interactions are there but not overwhelming constant.
Ridley for example was able to hit sheik out of her typical forward throw combo at low percents. Ridley of all people who is massive. The knock back is fine but hitstun needs to be adjusted for it. Sol (Little Mac main) main concern is the histun as it affected his character.
I didn't exactly take that leak seriously to begin with, but I'll just make this point.I question why you include Boshi as a Yoshi series character. His only appearance ever was in Mario RPG, so he's about as much of a Yoshi series character as Geno and Mallow are.
Not when you buy it physicallyThe game's gonna be 16GB
Isn't it ironic both the main protagonist and antagonist work best as Echoes?I'd say so. Earthbound beginnings rep AND retro.
Good work. Now that guy that grunts everytime he aethers can rest easy.Don't know if anyone has posted this before, so I figured I would since I found them.
40+ Minutes worth of offscreen yet very clear gameplay footage with fully audible audio.
Some miscellaneous notes I took:
- Prism Tower, Spirit Train, Kongo Falls, and Peach's Castle all look gorgeous upscaled in HD.
- The Splatfest version of Moray Towers makes me so happy and brings back many fond memories.
- Inkling and Ridley's victory themes are too perfect for them.
- The character callouts seem to be recycled from Smash U, aside from the returning veterans and new characters who weren't in that game.
- Ike's voice is much more intense, especially when yelling "Aether!"
- Fox sounds so much better.
- The crowd chant for the Pokémon Trainer seems to be "I choose you!"
- All of the "woomy" and "ngyes" a Splatoon fan could ever want.
- Ridley's screen KO is glorious.
- You can definitely still have Nana as your main Ice Climber.
- Sheik's new Final Smash has her dashing with some sort of dagger or knife drawn at the opponent. Like Marth's Critical Hit, you can miss.
- Unlike every other fighter, when Ice Climbers come out victorious, the announcer says "win" instead of "wins." I was worried he might be grammatically incorrect, but he's not!
- Ever need an indicator of who's in first on Moray Towers? Judd and Lil' Judd have you covered. They'll hold a flag of the color of the player port on whoever's in the lead (red for Player 1, Blue for Player 2, Yellow for Player 3, Green for Player 4, and so on.)
Difference is that actually relates to a Yoshi game, as Super Mario World is a duology overall, and Yoshi is in the game anyway.I didn't exactly take that leak seriously to begin with, but I'll just make this point.
If Sakurai can designate this as a "Yoshi stage":
Then as far as I'm concerned, Boshi would fit in as a Yoshi rep like a glove
Both of these videos are very nice. The "_____... Wins!" will take a bit getting used to, but I'll manage. But yeah, the game sounds great.Don't know if anyone has posted this before, so I figured I would since I found them.

If you do, please do me a solid and play Inkling on Boxing Ring, I'd like to know their special ring name. All the other characters who weren't in Smash 4 we already know, except them.I'm going to Nintendo NY next week and I heard there was a playable demo, can anyone confirm this?
I really wanna play it!
I’m not sure how different the hitstun is since I haven’t paid quite close enough attention yet, but, either way, it’s hard to tell at this point if this is really an issue, in part because there is no meta yet and nobody has had much time to work on their combos. For example, in your cited Sheik combo, is that optimal? Since we can cancel a dash into most grounded options, significantly increasing the quantity of possible follow ups, would a different attack out of a dash potentially be a better follow up?The one major thing that needs to be changed in Smash Ultimate is hitstun because otherwise many characters will not be able to follow-up on hits as it stands. You had characters getting punished because they hit the opponent, or nearly all characters not having throw combos at any percent. The Italian site has Pit's video up. But that's kind of it.The update is late again. Interesting.
Still I gotta check out that game play later.
Must be a slow work day.The Italian site has Pit's video up. But that's kind of it.
Weird the rest are taking so long, but yeah.
...it's Lapis.No prob, Bob!
That stage is a Mario stage. It's resembles the first level of one of the most popular Mario games ever, one that established a lot of the series' aesthetics (whereas Yoshi's Island established Yoshi's aesthetics). But I guess because the stage takes place on Yoshi's abode, Sakurai considered that a "Yoshi" stage. SMW and YI are not a "duology," that was just a marketing push. Yoshi's Island may have story significance with the overall Mario franchise, but that's the only similarity it has with SMW. If I'm trying to get into Sakurai's head for why he decided to do that, I would take a gander and say it's because he considers stuff that majorly relate and/or deal with Yoshi and his species is considered to be of his series. Boshi checks that box. He's a Yoshi and his role in the game he was featured in deals exclusively with Yoshis.Difference is that actually relates to a Yoshi game, as Super Mario World is a duology overall, and Yoshi is in the game anyway.
Boshi has no Yoshi actual appearances. He wouldn't fit under anything but the Mario moniker(or a Mario RPG series moniker if they made another one). The comparison doesn't ultimately work.
That said, Boshi could work as an echo/clone of Yoshi just fine, or even a costume, though. I mean, if Sakurai is interested enough to try and get the character and Squeenix says yes. Definitely would be cool for him to show up in some form, especially if Geno is playable.
Jesus ****ing Christ Snake's fully charged F-Smash almost killed Mewtwo at 30.Don't know if anyone has posted this before, so I figured I would since I found them.
Yoshi's Island is literally basically Super Mario World II even in Japan. There's no denying it's a Duology. It's literally the prequel to Super Mario World I. It's not a marketing push either. That stage is a Mario stage. I remember Kamek was put under Mario via the trophies. There's quite a few. Kamek.
Read the context again. Because that's pretty irrelevant to my point.I remember Kamek was put under Mario via the trophies.
Is it really better thanThere is a legitimate reason why I think the new way the winner is revealed is worse: Each character name is spoken with a different tone, while the same voice clip is used for Wins! despite it conflicting with the tone of his voice in many of the character voice clips.
This means that it doesn't flow together well at all; you can clearly tell that it's two separate voice clips stitched together.
It worked for "And the winner is..." because of the buildup before character name voice clip. That wasn't meant to flow together. This is.
I'm sure I'll tolerate it eventually, but this is bugging me.
Yeah, that was definitely worse! lolIs it really better than
