...Are you kidding me? NO we are NOT going to talk about Dora, a character that did not originate in a video game at all, nor does have any connection to Nintendo in any way whatsoever. She is NEVER GETTING INTO SMASH BROTHERS IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM AND THATS THAT.

All of that aside, if nobody else is willing to step up to change the topic, then I will. What other new stages do you guys think we'll see for other veteran franchises? I'm expecting something from Tropical Freeze for Donkey Kong, not sure what location exactly.

Frozen DK Island, of course. I wouldn't be surprised if they just went with that.

The real question is, why we need to get a Mother villain?

Because there are not enough villains in smash, Mother is a legendary franchise that fans has never forget and they still keep asking for mother 3 localization after more than 12 years, because you can give the hero / heroes of the franchise a nemesis to fight in smash, just ask Metroid fans or Donkey Kong fans.

Because almost all the secondary characters from Mother are already in the game for the final smash of Ness and Lucas with the exception of Duster that probably, just like Jeff, is gonna be an assist trophy, because the protagonist and secondary characters from Mother 1 are the most bland ones in personalities and honestly Mother 1 is the weakest with the exception of the great story of Giygas / Guiege.

And because honestly, the villains of Mother are extremely well know from everyone, I mean, who doesn't know who Giygas is? he appears in every single "top tier creepiest bosses".
And Porky, that may be less well know, but is still pretty know and he has been 2 bosses of Brawl and has his own stage, New Pork City (that is returning for this new smash game).

I believe Ashley is the most likely newcomer, which is why I'm puttin' all my eggs in her basket. I want Phoenix Wright more than I want her, but Phoenix Wright sure as hell ain't happenin', so I'm rootin' for the second best choice.

The only character I feel comfortable with is a Pokémon from Gen VII, and even then that's not a very specific prediction.

Regardless, I feel like a Pokémon would be the safest option for Sakurai. The franchise is extremely popular, obscurity is hardly an issue, there's plenty of options to choose from, and moveset potential is bountiful. Everyone has a preference for which Pokémon they'd like to see in Smash, but honestly, any of the popular choices would likely be effective in appealing to both new and old Smash fans alike.

If we're going for popularity and lack of obscurity, Sakurai wouldn't go wrong with a pull from Pokémon or Sonic (since he'll probably be reticent to add another Mario character)

I can't wait for the rest of the stages to be revealed.

I don't think it's likely Sonic will see a new stage for this game.

That said if he got one it would probably be from Lost World or Generations considering Mania and that other game that I can't mention without laughing came out years after the project started. I wouldn't mind City Escape or Sky Sanctuary, anything to escape ****ing Green Hill Zone. I get it, Sega, you like Green Hill Zone, we all know how much you LOVE Green Hill Zone. Stop putting it in games.

Nah, I thought it was spelled that way for years. "Aero Drive" made a lot more sense to me than "Aero Dive".

For all we know, Sakurai could've been shown some concept stuff for either game, it can definitely be a Woolly World situation.
