Kind of off-topic, but it frustrates me to no end that the living effigy of greatness that is Groose doesn't get to reincarnate, but Beedle, the asshole who drops you out of the sky if you dare to enter his shop without buying something, does. There truly is no justice in the world.
Eh, I guess? Wario hasn't appeared in a Mario title in a while and him and Yoshi are most often treated as guests to the game they share with Mario now. Wario and Mario, discounting Mario Party and Kart where DK has been prominent in both as well, were last seen together in Mario 64 DS if I recall correctly.
I was just pointing out that Hakamo-o and Kommo-o do have some significance in Sun and Moon. I don't know what this has to do with Iris or Drayden. And what makes the other pokemon you mentioned more relevant? Mimikyu is a totem pokemon just the same as Kommo-k and Lycanroc is used by an island kahuna. Decidueye is the fully evolved form of a starter as is Incineroar. When it comes down to it none of those pokemon trump any of the others in the game itself. It really comes down to the player and their choiced for who they want on their team.

I don't think that Wario having his own distinguished series would really impact Waluigi. Sakurai would either pair Waluigi with the Mario series, or cheat ad pair him with the Wario series.
How dare you. Anyways, Samus's suit design in Ultimate seems more like a modified Other M suit to be made bulkier. Even Smash 4 had her shoulder pads bulkier. So I'm not too upset. I just like her Samus returns suit.
And in Smash 7, they will add every character that was included in the initial round table discussion with the conceptual staff.
As much as I love to have Boshi, Yarn Yoshi seems more likely to be an Echo Fighter...

No, because Waluigi is considered a Mario character. If he were to get in he'd be under Mario's icon. Wario is represented as WarioWare. Waluigi has no relation to WarioWare.
For something people are less likely to bring up, I want to see Plessie Yoshi (It would still be Yoshi as their proportions are too different, but he’d have details like the fins on his head and tail and the bandanna on his neck.)

I know that. I'm just saying it would be weird to see Waluigi grouped with every other Mario character except Wario. It makes absolutely no sense to put Waluigi in the WarioWare series, but it also doesn't feel right to not group him with Wario.
I'm mostly excited to try my three mains: Sheik, Lucina, and Corrin. Outside of my main I want to try Zelda, Palutena, Pichu, Inklings, Link, Pokémon Trainer, Lucario, and Ridley. I'm unsure what new stuff Lucario was given (please faster movement speed, shorter frame rate, and WAY, WAY, WAY less end lag on moves especially Smash Attacks), but I'm interested to see. Zelda, Palutena, and Link are the ones I'm most interested in seeing though.
At this point if Impa (hopefully not an echo, but would still play regardless), Mipha, Fi, Linkle, or Tingle makes it in as next Zelda rep I'd be happy. Actually, playable Fi with the ability to turn into a blade, skate, hack, and slash through enemy sounds like something unique enough for Sakurai to include in the game.

How would a playable Master Hand even work? He's not supposed to have a trophy of himself as the Kid who's playing with them
Idk. I never rally considered Wario and Waluigi as inseparable. Waluigi is the Mario spin off king while Wario is off doing his thing in his own series.
