I mean Bowser is always the final boss Yoshi faces off against. If you think the adult version of Bowser doesn't count then I'd like to point out that adult Bowser was the final boss of 3 Yoshi games (4 if you count Yoshi's Safari).

And those three Yoshi games apparently happen to be the ones no one ever talks about or remembers.

My knowledge about Yoshi games is fairly small, and from what I've played I feel like I've seen more Kamek than anyone. I wasn't sure if he was ever an important boss fight, but he always seems to be the main guy stirring **** up and people in Smash speculation always bring him up in regards to Yoshi, so I hope its understandable why people bring him up. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It really seems like Mega Evolution was the special thing about Gen 6, and then that was it.

Before Ridley was revealed, I had an idea for a story mode where Bowser, Bowser Jr, King K. Rool, Ganondorf, Ridley, and Andross team up and serve as the main antagonists for at least most of the story, with Duck Hunt serving as their enforcer.

Bowser is the regular Final Boss, but Kamek is the one you see throughout the game. Like...Bowser Jr., or Boom Boom, or Zant, or Ghirahim.

If that's the case, then Lucario's Final Smash would likely deal maximum damage, regardless of its current damage.

With that said, mega evolution has only been a thing in the 6th generation, since it's pretty clear that Game Freak didn't push it any further in the 7th generation; we instead got Z-Moves.

Nintendo representatives made the comment that the Pokemon Trainer has been reworked so you can solo main any of the Pokemon if you want. To cater to that, its possible they mapped switching to a different input. Refilling an ink tank is shield+special button, maybe they remapped Pokemon swapping to the same thing so each Pokemon could have a 4th special. It'd make a hell of a lot of sense to do that if you ask me.

Aside from that, I was answering someone else's question because they didn't know. Nobody needed you to jump in aggressively and try to imply someone is dumb for thinking they might've changed it.

No, but I'm pretty sure I know what post you're talking about. It was what made me think "hey, Duck Hunt working with the villains could actually make a lot of sense!"
He was even in that creepy australlian NES commercial with Bowser, Lakitu and a few other villains from that era.

I mean, Marth was the first Fire Emblem character, and Medeus is the antagonist of the first FE. It would make sense?

Medusa deserves better. Seriously though, Villains are a massive part of kid icarus and I lowkey want one in. And not as an echo, she also deserves better in that regard

In the past, people had thrown out the suggestion of mapping it to a taunt button so each Pokemon could have 4 specials, which I think could have to do with the initial question being raised. I was always against that, as sideways joycons likely won't be able to taunt, so that'd be impractical. But considering that fact that they've added this new input as a major tool for Inkling, I'm actually kinda upset they didn't do the same for Pokemon Trainer. Zard could still have Rock Smash if they did that.

Yeah, but shield special would mean it doesn't work in the air. As it is, actively transforming is a ton more useful than the alternative.

He still uses Splattershot, but unlike other copy abilities, using up all the ink immediately discards the copy ability.

fr, I know people would be miffed with getting another kid icarus character, but medusa, in addition to being cool as hell, would be so fun to play as and she's a classic character as well, the original kid icarus trio should be a thing in smash. Medusa makes sense to me since, like Pit and Palutena, she’s one of the mainstays of the series...

Yeah, he gets the Splattershot but once that ink tank is empty, he loses the ability similar to how Kirby loses Robin's ability when he's out of tome uses

Medusa is much better than Hades, in my honest opinion.
1. She is more recurring than Hades. 2. She would fill the first female villain (excluding Wendy Koopa for obvious reasons).
3. Not only important to Pit, but for Palutena as well. 4. Outside of his personality, what really makes him better than Medusa? (Really curious.)

Hades is a new thing. And to me he is seriously disturbing. Way too over the top.
Medusa on the other hand is the antagonist of the first two games and is much more balanced as a villain.
I truly prefer her.
