Not only then would I be able to watch the live feed, but it would also be

I'm expecting to see some veterans revealed and at LEAST one newcomer. What I'm most excited about is to see the veterans in action. We really haven't seen a lot of them in the few gameplay trailers we've had with the newcomer reveals. I doubt the release date will be a month away from this direct. That would compete directly with Mario Kart 8 which I don't think would be wise. Although on the flipside, it could be more of an incentive for people to buy Wii U if both of those games came out right around the same time. Those two games are system sellers for sure. WHO KNOWS!? I'M TOO HYPE! I'm just happy it's happening now. This definitely makes up for the lackluster week we've had with the PoTD posts.

I really really REALLY hope Palutena is revealed. #TeamReal

So many characters having an overdue appearance. Falcon would generate a little hype in my book. Of course fan favorite newcomers like Ridley, Takamaru, Chrom, and Isaac would push it over the edge. I still believe they might show ZSS fighting Ridley for max hype.

Just out of curiosity how many veterans are missing from the roster as of now? Its too early for me to recall them all.

Sweet!!! I figured that with the strange drought of characters, they would maybe release a new trailer soon...but I definitely didn't expect an entire Direct dedicated to Smash! What will we get? Adventure mode info? Stage Builder?? HOW MANY NEWCOMERS WILL BE SHOWN!?!?

Maybe we'll get some news about a 3rd party character as well...Snake?

As that was just a general memory lane/announcement direct, I don't really think it's comparable to a dedicated direct presumably fairly close to the end of development. I wouldn't be surprised if it's released pretty close to Mario Kart to incentivize the two as a pair of system sellers released nigh on the same time.

Considering how the hype-fest yesterday with Mario Kart 8, I think it's safe to say Smash won't be far behind it. Of course, Mario Kart will have time to shine. So, I'll take a guess and we'll see Smash in either June or July.

If it is a little 10 minute direct like the first Pokemon direct I would expect a longer general direct in late April, just like what happened in January. Not sure that is happening with E3 approaching.

This will probably be one of the, if not the only smash direct we get before the games release. Hes gotta drop the bombs, show a wanted veteran, then fill the next part with modes and gameplay changes, then a newcomer, and possibly more changes with (less big missing) veterans sprinkled throughout.

Im expecting a veteran reveal, a skipped vet reveal (mewtwo), and a new character. Online mode as well as other modes revealed. The relationship and compatibility between 3ds and wii u versions revealed. Some new stages and some new items.
