He'd fit, but Palutena is both a part of the original game and the new one... so she has more priority.

I like Magnus, but to get the ''BIG SWORD" guy from a game filled with gods and all sorts of other vibrant characters as the second KI rep would be such a rip-off.

It's 30 minutes long. Seriously. There's downplaying your hype, and then there's just trying to crash the party for other people. This falls into the later.

I don't think I've ever seen you be positive about anything.

Some people just hate unlockables now, especially when you take into account that most game data is copy-protected, especially with the Wii U.

Brawl's game data was copy-protected, so if anything happened to your Wii, you pretty much have to start all over if you buy a new Wii. This won't be changing at all, even after the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service has been terminated.

Has great potential, but has only been in one game and Palutena has been in all of the games. And Palutena is more unique IMO.

Why does being shown a full match seem farfetched? We got a full Mario vs MegaMan match already...seeing a full match with 4 of the already confirmed characters isn't that odd.

That's doesn't seemed far fetched at all. Personally I'm more interested in seeing the changes to the veterans than seeing new characters.

This is the most promotion a Direct has gotten in a pic of the day, so I'm expecting way more than just a new character at this point. Hopefully an overview of game modes or an extended demo of the newcomers who haven't been shown off already. Only 5 hours now!

I'm just merely stating that Sakurai may no longer care about who he reveals, even if he/she is an unlockable, considering that a lot of the unlockable stuff tends to get spoiled when a game is not released internationally. You wouldn't believe how painful it was for the US and Europe to have to wait to get their hands on Brawl, while Japan ends up spoiling everything on YouTube.

I was around for that with Brawl...killed a lot for me. Especially since so many were expecting more than 36.

If he didn't care about unlockables, then why on the Brawl Dojo does he have spoiler alerts for the unlockables? He put them up when the game was released, and they are still up. And if he didn't care about unlockables and character reveals, why is he so hush hush all the time about them? To say he doesn't put any stock into unlockables seems reckless to me.

The reasons for Luigi/Marth being starters that were presented earlier make total sense too. Same could be said for Ness, but given that I haven't seen much Earthbound/Mother hype in quite awhile, he might be the lone representative, therefore unlockable.
