They just made a typo in the thread title.

It's an easy mistake, both characters having the sheer power that they do.

The difference being that Magikarp has no drawbacks, whilst DK's game is a very momentum based thing to behold. I've played against a couple of good DK's, and there's barely a thing my Diddy Kong and Magikarp can do at times. (I still haven't gotten Splash Cancelling down completely).

Theres alot wrong with the site, they got the tier list wrong (They forgot Magikarp (aka God tier) and Magikarp all together because so many people want him banned) they dont have up his character board for public viewing (only the awesome can view the Karp's board, easily the best board on SWF) and they even mispelled the name of the site (Its Splashboards, not Smashboards), and dont even get me started on AllisSplash and Splash Brawl Rankings

And continuing, it was indeed Magikarp. Who else could it have been honestly, DK is a coverup. When they finally discovered how to unlock Magikarp, they secretly trained him. Every SBR member is a Karp main the sheer power of his splash is none to mess with. It smashed Azen'z Lucario through the stage. Magikarp is what put Ken on Survivor.

To get to the point, it is Magikarp.

While Sakurai was making the game though, he was being bribed by numerous third parties to have them get there characters in (Mega Man, Sora, Klonoa, etc; ), but he decided to make the right choice and put in quality, not quantity, and put in Magikarp, to inspire millions of splashers everywhere to a brighter future.

anyone can make up a clause. o could make one up that there are "no using magikarp" and all it the magikarp clause. The common ones that many peopel play at tourneys and over the net are the legends clause.

you can decde withy uor friend which clauses you want to use or not.

Okay okay, but in all seriousness, DK is a character that I believe could shoot up higher on the tier list if he becomes more popular. The only thing that lets him down is something that is related to the player's skill more than anything. He's got the tools to do well, so it's up to the player. This link proves it.
