I can't even remember what playable Demo Systems Wal-Mart has right now. Also, the store itself has a weird setup, and is very busy with things besides video games. I don't remember what type of store Best Buy was, though. It's no EBGames/GameStop.

Well, while Walmart IS a more mainstream audience, Best Buy is a more focused audience, the kind of people that actually would be really intent on getting some new tech whereas with Walmart many people are just there on everyday shopping errands. In a phrase, by having the Best Buy demos, they are "telling someone who cares"

If they are anything like the Wal-Mart I once worked for it's because as a partner Wal-Mart can be extremely difficult to come to agreements with and many of their electronic departments are pretty poorly set up for something like that. In addition it probably makes more sense for them to work directly with an electronic retailer with stores more suited for this type of structure.
