I figured as much. Then that means Papa Genos might've called off the leak too early, if anything this gives the leak an actual leg to stand on since it means the leaker has ties to Tasofro- which probably also means he does have insider knowledge on the doujin circles supposedly working to make music for the game. Back in the big leagues boys.
I think Reimu will most likely be after the fighter pass, maybe the 2nd or 3rd char? But if she's FP5 I think it'd be perfect. Wrap off the fighter pass with the first female DLC char and then announce the first character of the next pass at the Video Game Awards (a western icon most likely to please the people who'd inevitably get butthurt if Reimu got in as FP5)

At this point, I'm just being wary of a loz18 scenario. It's just a waiting game at this point, one I'm really hoping that Reimu is a part of.

**** you could be right. If Reimu isn't fighter #5 than why didn't they address her? Maybe they just know for sure certain characters who ain't but don't really know 100% percent who fighter #5 is. So in Reimu's case, she could very well be a coin toss in the insiders' eyes.

Also, yeah, popularity is a weird factor when it comes to Smash inclusion. Of the 4 characters announced for Fighter's Pass so far, I have heard of only ONE prior to their reveal: Joker.

With the advent of more DLC, potentially up to 5 or even 10 (if all the WoL slots filled) more characters, I could definitely see more out-there picks. Still, I'd love to be wrong.

Pokemon is one of Nintendo's "Big Three" IPs and offers an insane amount of moveset potential thanks to having literally hundreds of completely distinct characters. I'm not a huge Pokemon guy myself, but I certainly can't begrudge the franchise its number of reps. Plus, Incineroar is hilarious to watch in action.

I don't think there is too many Pokemon in the roster because:

1. It's Nintendo's 2nd highest grossing franchise and one of it's biggest.

2. Pokemon has the most characters out of almost any video game franchise you can think of so there really isn't any accurate way to represent it in the roster because of that.

3. Merchandise video game wise, I believe it's the best selling.

Yeah, I believe Pokemon along with Mario and even Zelda to some extend deserve to have as many fighters in the roster as possible. But Fire Emblem on the other hand has too many fighters and certainly doesn't deserve more characters than Zelda in the roster.

No disrespect to fatmanonice, but he kinda just spouts ****. I remember between the DLC announcement and Joker's announcement that he was saying all sorts of **** about the DLC. It then cuts to the Smash Bros character facing off against both Galeem and Dharkon, a multitude of attacks and projectiles are being thrown from all over. We see Fox and Bayonetta about to be hit by G and D's attacks when a forcefield blocks the attacks suddenly.
Reimu then flies forward and weaves through the absolute barrage of attacks as if they are moving out of the way themselves from her POV. Reimu then lets off one more barrier to disperse another attack from them

Lol, i would expect that's her reaction with how the incident in Gensokyo are done by culprits which power are broken af.

This "Galeem Incident" is prob mild at best for her to not care much. Ofc she's prob more focused on searching the culprit that somehow connect Gensokyo with this Smash universe.

Yeah, it's a no-brainer that Touhou is mostly known for its music, and Castlevania is already up there as far as music compositions both original and remixed are concerned. Ideally, we could see 10-12 Originals, 10-12 Smashified Remixes, and 10-12 Doujin Circle Remixes for a total of 30-36 songs.

Let's assume that Sakurai and ZUN (and the fans behind them) are on board with the idea. Could you imagine the first-ever Smash Fighter to get more than a handful of fan-made music? That would be absolutely phenomenal...

Terrible joke aside, I think the most likely possibility for fanon representation would be in the Classic Mode congratulations screen. It has some neat references already, like Little Mac's being a Rocky reference and Mewtwo's referencing the Mewtwo Returns movie.

Some asshole on /v/ got so fed up with Reimuposting that he made it his life's mission to post the most vile yukkuri abuse out there in Smash threads just to spite supporters. It's such a stupid crusade and a wonder why people bother drawing **** like that.

For those sweet summer children on this thread who have just gotten into Touhou, please don't look up yukkuri abuse. Seriously... It's all shock for shock value's sake.
