I see why people read townie intent into this guy, I really do. But if you look at his first posts, they're so safe. So calculated. His 'towniness' came in a burst after a specific post, and the post was a gambit he was told to do.

You know half the reason I think he's scum? Because the approach he's taking is exactly the same as the one I took in my first scum game. Play dumb and honest. Just because someone plays dumb, doesn't mean they are. I'd cite Chibo as reference but that's not applicable since he is actually that dumb.

Hell, if I set my almost overwhelming arrogance aside, I'm nearly willing to consider I may sometimes be not entirely accurate.

Also I forgot to say @ RR - Adventure Time? OS admitted he let himself be lynched - so I'd hardly call that me being wrong. Check the ranking thread to see him ripped apart about that. One of my reasons for lynching him was that he wasn't opposing it like a decent townie would. Gambit stylee.

Finally,
Swiss gives us some reasoning. Trust me, I've already considered this 5 times over. If you recall, which I'm sure you do, I'm not alien to this concept as it is exactly what I used in DnD to stay under the radar. Thing is, there's a point where genuine town clueless-ness starts to shine through those suspicions. I would never have gone to the lengths to act so honest that I name claimed and claimed my role entirely at random unless the entire thing was planned by my scummates. I simply would not have been good enough/confident enough to craft it myself. With Dietz, he's obviously not fake-claiming this role as Rockin confirmed himself as his neighbor (unless you think both are scum, which you don't). And, due to the nature of his role and the information accessible to him if he were to be scum (a QT with Rockin and a QT with his mates), I'm positive his mates would have found it more fruitful to gain information from forming a bond of trust with Rockin than randomly outing the neighborhood for the vain hope of gaining dumbtown points for a player that certainly wouldn't be expected to carry their faction come crunch time.

And besides, the only scummates I could see being crafy enough to tell him to do this is Me, you, and possibly Ryker. Since you're both pushing him and I obviously didn't tell him everything just seems to line up as it appears: dumbtown.

Yeah but only because NL and myself are heavily arguing against it. It could have easily backfired as is apparent with the wagon that spawned afterwards.

Wait NL, so why are we switching from Swiss now?

I can see the justification for Felipe, but he seems like he's just totally out there threat-wise. I'm entirely willing to lynch him but I don't see how he comes before someone who tripped up so royal like Swiss or even someone just blatantly not paying attention like Orbo... Shouldn't we be trying to remove the biggest threats to town first? (He's supposed to be normally really good right, so...) Or did Swiss actually do something awesome to redeem himself somehow and I'm too new to realize what it was. (he's still like: will never be clean in my eyes lol)

It's starting to get the same with Ryker too... can someone else tell me why I'm supposed to think he's town? Because right now all I see is hateful posts, loving Swiss, and being gone from the thread.

regardless of how effective that may be

Do you realize what you're saying here? What would any of the first part matter if it was all effective?
Because swisstown would get the job done, but swisscum being blindly followed would be a pretty bad thing.
I find following Swiss works.
of course you would.
Waaaaaaaat i am not even pushing him. Where this assumptions come from. I am just following the wagon.
not liking this.
Swiss, if I told you I was 100% sure Ditz was scum would you switch to his wagon on the assumption that I shot DH toNight?
Kuz what changed from this?

Answers and trains of thought. RR, compared to everyone else here, how do you rate yourself in terms of skill? Would you consider yourself a big threat to mafia if as a townie?
Based on Xonar's thread I am worse than anyone else on this site.

He came in, acted arrogant but maybe plausible, and pushed people in really weird ways that I couldn't follow while I was busy trying to figure out how to play my role as townie. He saw my fear to make firm stances in the first 24 hours or so and jumped on the opportunity to go after a noob when Kuz threw his vote down on me even though he just voted. After I realized hiding in a hole from the mafia as a townie wasn't doing me or the rest of the town any good Kuz stopped and left Swiss holding the rope of a really bad scum slip up when he tried to push my lynch through by claiming to be my neighbor.

After that it seems like he just became infuriated that he screwed up so badly that even the newest player in the game figured out he was scummy and not making logical choices and ended up pinning him for it that he just bit in and kept trying. That's the only explanation I can think of for how bad this Swiss vs. me train of thought is going... and honestly that makes me lol

I know that wasn't as elegant as other people have put it, but it gets my thoughts across.
Do people disagree with this, or are they just frying other fish? Because if I'm wrong on Swiss people are going to have to start explaining it out, because everything I see him say just seems totally wrong, like this thing that people didn't respond to:
I do have one more question as I read through now though:

I thought Ryker was the one who wanted the cop to protect him though? Or did Swiss think Ryker said Swiss should be protected and he's just being... uh Swiss I guess.

(17,000 posts in 3 seconds I know lol, if I could condense it into one big post I would but editing in this game would be really bad)
If I'm going to be helpful I need some people to throw me some bones lol
("No one pays attention to weeegeee..." lol)

(Also Ryu is there going to be a part 2?)

A-swiss is actually really good. not a good D1 lynch ever. he can either really help you or kick your ***

B-Cop doesn't protect. cop investigates.
Doc protects.
ryker wants doc on him

Also nix on that last bit I asked in my last post. Contemplating it while getting lunch I realized that "being copped" wasn't supposed to be a good thing lol. I had it mentally confused with doctor protection since you usually want them on the cop etc.

My fail lol

actually ryker telling the cop to investigate him could be a really confident proclamation of town(or a role that always turns up inno regardless of alignment)

this is what i get for going on someone elses word.

i knew the doc he wanted but i was saying that there would be that reason for having the cop on himself.

Ryker meant that he wants the doc on me or him - and the cop on Kuz. This means the doc flips a coin and protects one of us randomly - so that scum can't risk killing us.

Both of us would welcome the cop on us - on the provision the cop then follows out lynch choices toMorrow if we appear innocent. Be subtle, of course.

cop and doc should make their own decisions as of now. Tbh we don't even know if swiss and ryker are more protect worthy role wise than someone else would be.

Gorf, do you still hold this opinion after Dietz's 728?
Skipped over it when it came up cuz of the big a** paragraph. But ignoring it and assuming it's just him talking about what was spoken of in the neighbor QT, I gotta say I have no qualms with the post. Like my response to July's question to me a few pages back, I'm willing to lean a bit off of Dietzscum. A lot of my argument IS the fact that it may not be too farfetched that Dietzscum can be doing some of the shiz he has.... I still don't like em but for now I guess it's not gonna get me anywhere grilling em the way I am.

Seriously. You guys should really look at his beginning play and take into consideration that, if he has scummates, they can't have corrected him on how safe and cautious his early play was... But they can after the crime's been commited, which is what everyone's leaning on.

I am bad because I never play better than bad.

I was really just wondering whether your style involves being condescending, controlling, and intimidating.

My reads are:
RR scum
NL as town
Ryker leaning town
DH leaning town
Orb is dumb or scum
Dietz town
Kuz is leaning scum
Everyone else is null
I'm watching Swiss in particular because my opinion on you keeps changing.

Oh, guess I misread :/ If Jdietz is playing up the noobcard, it will become reeeeeally obvious after a couple days.

I have no clue, still think it is a mafia role.

First guess, I draw PRs/Cop a lot, otherwise idk.

Let me ask you this, what do you gain from each of these questions?

Not atm.

Saturday I was in MA for a regional. Sunday I was exhausted/ sick because of MA. Yesterday was just overall laziness. I'll try to be helpful today when I get back from school. inb4lazyme -_-[/QUOTE]

Debuz. I'll ask you again. Are you fully caught up?

@NL, @Kuz... Seriously? Don't tell me I'm tunneling, the only thing I can see townie intent behind this post is the part about Felipe lynch being ehh. Enlighten me. PLEASE.
