It's unfortunate but based on what I've heard, the Grinch leak is completely, unequivocally and definitively..........made up. It's a shame, for a brief moment, I imagined Isaac actually being in the launch roster.

It's not the first time a leaker will say something like this, and it won't be the last. When I can actually see real evidence from these leakers that it is fake other than trusting there word, then I will listen more closely. All we can do is wait for the next direct.

I have a feeling these guys can't say anything more then that. Either way, we will get our final answer about this leak in the next 2 days.

This is earlier than I expected. At the very least, we'll know in just two days if this damn Grinch leak is true or not. I hate how it's ripped the Smash Bros community in half.

We should also know about Shantae's status. I'm still hoping for base roster or DLC. Her potential would be wasted as an assist trophy. Also remember, if she's not shown at all, she still has potential as DLC down the road. It's not over until Sakurai says so.

So, best case scenario: Shantae is in base and Grinch leak was a fabrication.

2nd best case: Grinch leak is true and Shantae isn't revealed as an Assist. Means there is a whole lot less competition for the DLC slot.

3rd best case: Assist. At least she's in.

Worse cast: not present as assist and not revealed down the line as DLC. In this case, WayForward, you got some 'splainin' to do.

There's no reason for a warning. You really aren't going to accomplish anything with it, and it would only be a small group of people doing it anyway.
