Yeah at this point thanks to 5's opening, Shantae's no longer that "obscure" indie people have exaggerated her being so I'm content but man would it still be cool to see her in Smash.

BTW, can anyone confirm if River City Girls will have online co-op? I've only found mentions of local but no online.

I mean I have a few ideas for partners in a future Paper Mario game myself (as well as a few ideas for a game like that in general) though she’d be a fun addition.

Could be worse, I've seen comics that can't even keep their art consistent between issues/volumes. Mega Man alone practically had a revolving door of artists.

Said this before, but aside from minor clothing changes, you can see a natural, not-so random progression that sees her becoming less slim, gaining larger eyes, and upon closer inspection, spikier hair. Basically going from one anime style (Sailor Moon) to another.

Here's the thing AFAIK she's yet to come out and say "It's NOT about Smash guys!" like the last few tweets she made that made people retweet like mad with "Smash?!" So the Impossible VO dream tweet is still extremely vague at this point.

An article of that "tweet" showed up on my Chrome homepage, but said that it didn't exist when I selected it. The preview showed a typo, so maybe she deleted it from that. Didn't actually go to her page to look, though.

For now, anything that to do with Smash is going to be held up either for hype or denial by many people until more Official News from Nintendo and Sakurai pops up.

Which could start again on August or September for the announcements. Though, while new games doesn't seem the focus entirely for smash DLC, we can't count it out yet.

Well, there are various reasons why it can go silent for more then a day.

Still, Hero is still on the back of everyone's minds and the upcoming EVO event coming in 2 weeks. So, Shantae is somewhat placed on the side for now with more juicy info coming very close.

It's ironic how they're treating their audience like kids now, while Nintendo has more of the whole family as its audience. Sony doesn't even use its kid-friendly mascots anymore, so they're just scaring off consumers from bothering with their stuff at this rate.

It's no wonder why Senran Kagura's producer was pissed and apparently threatened to leave Marvelous.
