It's the Game Boy Color's best Metroidvania and its cult classic status is the reason we have more Shantae games. If anything, Risky's Revenge is flawed because it's half the game the original was. Really, it has half the dungeons, half the dance transformations, half the game-length, no day/night cycle, and you don't even fight Risky despite the title. Half-Genie Hero was given to the wrong game.

The original GBC-game is still my favourite in the series.

So yeah, not getting the stigma...

agreed! on a side note it also has a pretty fun ost for a gameboy color game and a lot of melodies were great enough to get remixed and remastered a myriad of times in later games.

And that wasn't for lack of trying, since the episodic game format ala Final Fantasy IV: The After Years was simply picked at the wrong time (and eventually scrapped come Pirate's Curse, so as it is now it's the Kingdom Hearts 3D to PC's KH III). Still the least best game in the series, but the circumstances it was made in are understandable.

Soon I'll be able to experience the PAL Hidden Mansion (in a fashion). Just as well because it feels like the 3DS normal mansion showers you in hearts.

Part of me hopes that we can see some of those portrait ghosts in the future, especially after seeing E. Gadd being much more lax with the ghosts in Evershade Valley. Sure a lot of them were jerks, but most of them felt like they were just being used by King Boo to block Luigi's progress without their knowledge and were otherwise doing nothing malicious without provocation. And yet of all of them, it's King Boo, the one ghost that absolutely deserves to be locked up in a painting, that gets sold off for no good reason.

I know this isn't Rottytops' Theme, but it does have Luigi's Mansion music?

None that I know of, sorry.

Though I guess that "music box" segment is reminiscent of how the Brawl remix of the Luigi's Mansion theme starts.

Shantae takes place in a post apocalypse world? The old world technology is shown to be our stuff right? and characters live in a arabian world but stuff like watches exist and a bicycle I think is "old technology" in the game.

I don't know. Shantae was my second most wanted character I jump on after Palutena was confirmed in that GLORIOUS ANIME TRAILER. So for the 3rd...I am not to entirely sure at the moment.

There aren't many characters I want at this point. I guess maybe all that's less is Impa and Dixie and since they, assuming they do happen, would probably be echoes, I think I'd be content assuming Shantae got in...as far as characters are concerned. I still want confirmation that there's a significant amount of single player content.

Yeah, there is already too many fire based characters in Smash. Decidueye would be great, but I feel any Pokemon that got into Pokken probably will be picked.

If we get a sun and Moon Pokemon I feel the most likely one is Zeraora.

Im fine with more female representation. The only issue I have is it makes the title "Super Smash Bros" more and more inaccurate. ;p

Only kidding. The more the merrier. Im extremely happy to see Daisy, Female Pokemon Trainer, and an updated Zelda being in Ultimate, and I think more representation is great.

I'm supporting Shantae and Bandana Dee at the same time, so if one gets in I'm going 100% on the other one.

As for someone else who I'd probably support in addition to Bandana Dee, I'm split between Rex + Pyra, Spring Man, Octoling and Euden [from Dragalia Lost] (good luck making a unique moveset for that guy). Basically a lot of Switch-era guys that would be DLC if they were to get in.
