Huh... so how would Shantae with a Super Crown look like?

Picture Peach in a ponytail but longer, dressed in a red dress outfit that is a fusion of a belly dancer and a ball room gown, her eyes would still be blue(since Shantae has blue eyes), she would retain her gold hair band, earrings, arm bands and finally have the Super Crown item on her head.

I do want to note, Bowsette has actually caused Nintendo's stock to spike more so than the Nintendo Direct did. I have the distinct feeling that this is not something that is gonna disappear soon...

We live in a time where Nintendo stock jumps from 44.64 to 46.61 immediately after #Bowsette blew up.

We have not only fan art totaling in the hundreds of thousands, but famous manga artists(I heard Dragon's Maid is one of them) making not only pictures, but planning on making entire doujinshi's based on this concept! It's the top trending thing in Japan's twitter! This is not your average flash in the pan meme any more, this thing is gonna shape the entire Mario fandom, possibly even the wider Nintendo fandom as well!

When I mentioned the October 16th leak, I didn't know about that other stuff. Probably fake then in which case. 17 characters? I'll be surprised if they announce more than 3-4 fighters.

I assume that at MOST, all that remains is 11-12 fighters, half of which would be echos... so yeah, another day, another fake leak.

I am protesting all of this until people realize that by the naming conventions set in New Super Mario Bros Deluxe, that the character should be called Peachowser. Toadette isn't part of this so her name shouldn't be in there

Yeah, this is it. I think most people realize that it does not make any sense, but it just rolls off the tongue better than any other option. Plus, we are well past the point of changing this characters name. The Bowsette hashtag has over a million posts on it.

Basically thanks to Nintendo's latest port with New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe we got the character of Toadette and with the new power up item the "Super Crown" she can transform into a character called "Peachette" who is mostly Peach with some of Toadette's feature. One guy online decided to draw a small comic with the intention of it only being a joke with how now with the Super Crown item in play the ending to Super Mario Odyssey would be VERY different.
That comic blew up to epic heights as you can see with Nintendo's stock value.

The naming is due to how since Toadette is the first character to USE said Super Crown then all other characters will always have an "ette" in their names somewhere. Makes sense since it roles off the tongue easier.

Well, might as well speculate on a Princess mode while we're at it...

Shantae uses a parasol for her main attack. She can hover in the air for a bit by pressing and holding the jump button in the air. Tufts of grass replace pots and sometimes contain throwing items. Pressing X in the air opens up her parasol to glide down and possibly catch updrafts. She has access to four "vibes" that she can cycle through and use with A. Calm restores health, Gloom increases speed while leaving behind damaging tears, Rage makes her invincible with an aura of fire but slows her tremendously, and Joy lets her fly up into the air with a damaging tornado.

Just say Shantae is a none human(since technically she is a hybrid species of Genie).

So yeah the Space Princess outfit is technically suitable for children ages 10 and up.

If we couldn't get Tharja as a trophy, if a bit of Corrin's thighs was too much skin, and if Exdeath's Void occupies the space underneath dresses, then there's absolutely no way we're getting any alts for Shantae, except maybe Jammies.

Nintendo tends to back track from time-to-time. They will have some violent exclusives for the Wii but then censor Fatal Frame, a rated M title.

I understand that, but you have to keep in mind that they have to deal with several different ratings boards. Some things like Wonder Pink's trophy were fine with the ESRB for Smash 4, but Japan's CERO had them change her pose in the Japanese version. CERO is also the reason we have the void. Moreover while Nintendo may allow other more risque games on their platform, they're still much more careful with their own franchises.

Sure Peach wore a bikini in Odyssey, but it's not actually skimpy and she still has a pareo on as well over the bottom. The flowers around her neck are even placed in a way that the cover any potential cleavage, though again even if they weren't there, the top isn't a low cut (at least it doesn't appear to be from the few screenshots I've seen). Compare that to what is essentially a slave Leia costume on Shantae. Very big difference in both design and presentation.
