Most of my image hotlinks sometimes have pornographic ads on them. The images themselves I promise won't ever be anything more than what's considered "questionable" by majority.
However, due to the former, should I start hot-linking the direct image, or can I continue to be a lazy-*** and just continue to hotlink the URL no problem?
I didn't think I'd get in trouble since you haven't done anything yet, but I can't be too sure... plus I know there are minors; and even though they're ads, and it's easy to ignore, block them, and whatever else the internet gives you to combat these sort of things... I just don't want to mess up is all.[/collapse]

just save the image and upload it yourself... its what I do lol

Click "View Image."
Copypasta new URL.
Bam.
Takes too long to save it onto my computer, then upload to imageshack, when it's right there on another (and more likely than not the originally-) hosted server.
But either way it's just as I said, it's mainly an issue of me being way too d*** lazy to even get the direct image URL, but now I don't want to come back some day and see that another moderator doesn't take my usual forum habits as lightly as Chis does.

That doesnt always work though kinzer, some sites have ways of stopping people embedding images. It works for the vast majority of them yes but some dedicated image hosting websites might not allow it.

I'm telling you, it's simply a matter of laziness with me, and because nobody has asked me to regulate.
The minute anybody starts asking me to put 'em up on imageshack, I'll do it. Until then though, I won't go through the hassle. >_<

...On a more serious note, what's wrong with the website?
If it's about the pornographic images, you do realize that's only if you go looking for them, isn't it? Granted, it may help to know the keywords, or make an account to further restrict what comes up through searches, but otherwise it's the same as using Youtube, or even Google to look for something on the internet.
Unless you're telling me that looking up "breasts" on Google gave you different results than what you were looking for. You know, the scientific term to describe the upper part of a human's chest. Of course putting "-porn" may help a little bit, but you know...
Edit: apparently it's down for maintenance, but a second ago it gave me the 403 forbidden error. I'll give it a day and look if it's back up by itself or whatever.
