Of course, Nintendo makes some of their female characters sexy by intention. If Nintendo wouldn't want Zamus to be sexy, they could have made her suit tight, but not skin tight. And Peach could do kick attacks instead of butt attacks. And most girls in Fire Emblem shows a lot of skin while the males doesn't. And neither Krystal or Peach needed to wear thongs. It was all intentional by Nintendo.

My point is that whatever preferences you may have, and even if you look at things differently, it's impossible to say that, for example, Nintendo didn't put Peach in a thong and gave her a floppy jiggle butt on purpose. I definitely don't think it looks sexy on her, but that doesn't matter in the big picture. Nintendo didn't make those changes because they wanted to make her more unattractrive. They put her in a thong to show off her butt. And some people thinks massive butt jiggling is sexy.

And no one can doubt that they are using sex appeal, just because of Zero Suit Samus. Like someone else said (forgot which page...) she never had a big enough role to be a likly character. Well some of it is a given (tight suit, she needs to stay in her powersuit), they did go "a litte" over board. Honestly, to the best of my knowledge, never had a big role, never very important, just in for sex appeal.

Well we all know Nintendo has never been very crazed over sex appeal, this is clear proof they are trying to start to appeal to other gamers (and even pokemon...yes someone else brought that up as well)

Those games became disguisting once they introduced the female characters. 10 year old girls do not have breasts, I sincerly doubt that any of the designers of that game have actually met a 10 year old girl if they think that is any way an accurate portrayl of a 10 year old girl, they look about 15 in RSE and DP.

This thread topic almost borders on hypocritical.
If there is not enough female characters, people complain, arguing that it's sexist. As soon as they add more females, people complain and argue that its sexist and stereotypical.
