Well, I guess everyone else is busy? Most of us have stuff to attend to irl.

Plus I didn't think you'd want a response from me seeing as you already know what it'd be. :>

Actually I don't know what response you would give me. I don't make grudges or notes in my head about people. Can you tell me who the site developer or owner is? Oh and I saw that Zankoku was doing something not so long ago, so why hasn't he replied to me yet?

Can you tell me who the site developer or owner is?
AlphaZealot is the representative of the sites owner, and Warchamp7 is the main developer.

As for both of your suggestions, they're flat out not happening.

Censor removal/toggle: Other than the facts that we're had a history of trying to keep ourselves E rated; removing the censor, even with a toggle would still be encouraging people to use those words more; that people who claim to be mature want them, yet the mature people don't (case in point: Any 12 year old CoD player); the only argument people have is basically "Because I want it".

Other than all those, the current site owners want to keep the censor to keep SWF matching their other Nintendo themed sites.

Deleting own posts: We've already had a few people in the past do things like posting insults/threats/porn/gore and then editing it out, acting all innocent. We can catch em, but if they start deleting posts, it's just going to be more frustrating for us and easier for them. So, no on that.

Alright, since all of this started because of a double post infraction, may you make that rule more specific in the rules section?
  • Multiple posts in a row. If you wish to add/modify content you have already posted, use the "edit" function.
There is no time interval specified or anything saying you have to wait a certain amount of time before you can post again or in another thread after you have already posted in one thread.

It's because it's against the rules to double post entirely. Under certain circumstances the rule is overlooked, but those are all exceptions that need not be learned.

Ok yes but people like me don't or didn't know what double posting is, so it should be cleared up in the rule section since it isn't specific enough.

It doesn't say double posting though. It says multiple posts in a row. How is that hard to understand?

Not specific enough. It's as if the rules are implying everyone has used forums before, and know the "rules" or culture of a forum.

What part of that rule is left open for interpretation? It literally says multiple posts in a row (that means more than one) are not allowed. That's one of the simplest, most straight forward rules I can think of.

It's actually more specific than "double posting"

Anyways, pop up ads are back. It's the Wolf Among Us or whatever it's called.

No, the rule says "Multiple posts in a row." is considered spam and will be punished. The rule is perfectly written and clear. Your inability to comprehend it does not change the rules. You've been given this answer multiple times, in multiple threads, from multiple people and staff. Stop cluttering up the suggestion thread as well.

The things you don't like are staying how they are. They have been that way for a long time, for reasons determined long ago, and argued to death by many before you - to no avail. Your failure to comprehend these rules is on you, not us or anyone else. If you have a problem with the rules on Smashboards, don't use Smashboards.

Hey I was wondering if there are trophies or something you can get on smashboards for going to events such as Apex 2014? Not sure if this is already implemented.

Smashboards should make an Unmoderator position and promote Quilt to it. As a neutral third party, I think this is a really good idea.

Other than that, the Eager Beaver award I got yesterday was pretty amusing. I'd like to see more minor, hidden trophies in the same vein.

The Unmoderator party already exists.

It's whoever is not a moderator / super moderator.

You hear that @ Warchamp7 Warchamp7 , you're on my level.

Is it possible to make it so that a user may choose which of their user banners (premium, backroom, etc) as well as which of their username colors is displayed? For instance, I'd prefer to have my name viewed by users in the standard color (based on whichever forum style they are using) rather than the premium blue color. This was once before an option if I recall.

Users have to choose one of their Backroom banners if they have multiple. Premium users can currently hide their banner only from themselves if they so choose. Anything beyond that is something that would need to be discussed if there was enough of a demand.

I think we should implement this feature immediately. You have my vote.

If we aren't getting additional avatars for P:M mains, would it at least be possible to have Roy and Mewtwo flair along with the rest of the Brawl cast? The folks at the Mewtwo forums would like to represent their main.

How about we had a search feature for the events section? Like having a way to search a state for events, as it's really quite hard to find something in my state.

Can there be a thing where you stop watching all threads your currently watching at once instead of going to each and every thread manually? Since I originally had it so I watched threads by just going into them, but there are specific threads I want to know if someone posts in, and if I adjust my alerts so I get an alert when someone posts in a thread I'm watching, I'll get bombarded with about a million alerts.

Watched threads>Show all watched threads>check the boxes for any threads you want to watch> scroll to bottom and tell it to unwatch them

Thanks! It did still take a little while though, seeing as I had seven pages of watched threads.

Is it possible to view much older alerts than the ones shown in http://smashboards.com/account/alerts? I was quoted 10+ days ago and I want to find that post again. That link only shows alerts from Friday onwards.

It'd also be nice if we could keep track of the things we Like. Sometimes I like posts I find interesting or for future reference, going back to them would be nice. Think of it as "Likes you've given" instead of Received http://smashboards.com/account/likes.
