Note that individual team points haven't been updated - I couldn't get it all done over lunch. I'll try and get to that and crews soon. Tio results should be posted later this week.

The Championship is worth 1.5x the number of points! Anyone in the top 5 could win at this point!

How much money exists for the team bonus so far, beacause as of right now, me and Tink win points. And the only way we could not win the points is if Dark and Vidjo get first, and we fail to make the bracket in teams, woot. So how much do we get?

Iggy by my calculations, if we round you'd need at least 4th place to guarantee. If you were 5th or lower, the current 2nd or 3rd place teams could pass you if they won the championship event.

Hey i was thinking, I like how teams get points if they team together at the next tournament and stuff, but it's a little ridiculous how dope has gotten so high in teams but gets no points for it. Maybe next circuit you could just give teams a point bonus (one that would make them want to team again) for teaming with each other if they teamed with each other at the previous event. I think this is a pretty good compromise.

I think I get what you are saying, and it's actually not a bad idea. You're saying for teaming with your "core" teammate, maybe tack on an extra 10-20% worth of points for their placing. The problem is that at the end of the season, how do you award money? Do you award whoever the top 6 are? You'd be double-prizing a team that was together all season and were tied for first in the points, and if someone passed them then you'd have them tied for second? I don't know, seems overcomplicated.

Interestingly, I think that literally the only team that has been together at every tournament though is Tink and Iggy. I don't see another one up there.

We could bring it under consideration but all of the committee members believe that a team performs better than two random people every tourny. Dope wins money because he picks a teammate and wins money for that tournament. We decided not to award extra money for a single person that performs well in a team event.

well i think that dope shouldnt be punished for not having a teamate, nor should teams that are losing to him (or a team that isnt a regular one) every tourney get bonus money. I think it's a fair compromise to give a team lets say.....+10% more points per previous event where they teamed? that way dope would still have a shot at getting the prize money, but would be at a severe disadvantage to teams that have been together (prime + squared, nubsauce). also, im not sure if the rules do this now, but if your partner wasn't able to make one of the events, you could just team with him the next time and still get a bonus % of points (albeit -10% from what other teams would be getting).
