Lucky- yeah i'm pretty sure it will be over by 9. At least for doubles and singles. We're doing a UCSD vs Harmony crew battle that could possibly extend past that but the actual tournament should end by 8.

Also, I managed to perform surgery on my gamecube in the middle of a match. Now it works! I still have to suture the wound, though...

is the triweekly a PART of the winter games fest?

or is it more of a we're holding it together at the same place to draw more attention, other than that we are separate.

That's a map. Basically i highlighted iin blue the OLD route where the lodge was. Just FYI. In RED is the route you need to take to the new parking place. If you want go ahead and park in the lodge area so Rickety's team can come get you if you dont want to get lost. Anyway, the GREEN is the route you will drive to drop off TV's and also the route you will walk to get to the venue from the parking lot named Gilman Parking Structure.

Here's detailed directions once you exit the 5.

PLEASE READ THIS PARAGRAPH IF YOU ARE DROPPING OFF A TV.


Once you exit the 5, if you came from LA you will exit La Jolla Village Drive and take a right. If you came from south SD you'll take a left onto La Jolla Villege Drive instead. From here, go strait until you hit Via La Jolla Drive. Take a right. Go up a steep hill. You will see Gilman drive, take a left. Then a right at Myers drive (this is green on your map) At the end of myer's drive you will be forced to U-turn in a cul de sac area thing. Call me (949) 294 5737 so we can come pick up your TV. You are literally right in front of the ballroom, but you have to go back to park at the parking structure. Basically go back down Myer's road and take a left back onto Gilman. Then take a left on Via La Jolla, by doing this action you have entered the Gilman Parking Structure. Please park on any level, in any space labeled S, B, A or metered. This is free of charge on Saturday. DO NOT PARK in spots labeled reserved or "special A permits only" . From here you're going to walk west on Gilman Drive until you hit Myer's road, take a right, go all the way strait to the U-turn area. Basically walk back down the roads you took to drop off the TV. At the U-turn area you are RIGHT in front of a tan-white building, this is the ballroom/price center. There should be an entrance right there somewhere.

These Triweeklies happen every three weeks, though sometimes we bump them up or down a week if they conflict with another big tournament nearby (usually Ken's biweeklies in Westminster). Check this thread often for Triweekly dates, or for whenever we throw smashfest/mini-tournament events, which usually happen every other week.

Where in San Diego do you live? Maybe we can play sometime! :]

Does anyone remember who they fought at Double Pandatration? That is the only tournament in San Diego since the Summer (unless you count Cheapness Outrage, which I want to recreate as well!), and it would be nice to recreate the bracket and put it on tio. The bracket to the last biweekly at ken's house was lost, but after a couple phone calls we were able to recreate it perfectly, so why can't we do the same?

I know I got 5th. I lost to Wobbles in the winners bracket at some stage that day. Also, Azeem played Forward third match, and he beat Wobbles in the losers bracket at some point. I'm pretty sure Azeem got fourth and Wobbles and I tied for fifth. I could be mistaken but this is most likely from my memory.

Matter of fact, the only time I ever played Edrees is that one friendly he absolutely murdered me in at the last triweekly I went to.
