The Smash players were completely displaced and intentionally bothered throughout the entire night. Above that, we had an out of town guest we were trying to accommodate, Tofer. Even from an outsider perspective looking in, what happened that night was rude, inexcusable, and deliberately negligent. She couldn't hold up what she promised, and that's all there is to it.

The party itself was actually pretty goddamn boring too. No one really did anything outside of the mediocre band. The only thing I got out of it was catching up with her parents. Sabrina seldom did so much as even talk to us because she was focused more on her other guests.

Quit being a moronic little **** wit about it. :applejack:

I mean here the smashers dont have parties that arent actually meant primarily for smash. But it would feel odd if we did for a bog standard party

Cause she told us Brawl, so we expected Brawl to be included. She used to be a somewhat-dedicated Smasher with us back in the Melee days, but ever since she hasn't keep contact with us since then. Her priorities have changed.

I thought Sabrina's party was pretty interesting. Band was loud, but that's what bands do lol.

I think Espy's salty that the guitarist starting playing in front of him while he was playing Brawl :p

Was gonna reply, but Geo more or less summed it up. We were under the assumption that she was going to dedicate some space for Brawl stuff, since that's what she always did, and that's what she actually told us she'd do prior to the party.

She did, but the conditions were just blargh. Didn't bother me too much, but the way she handled it for the entirety of the night was pitiful. I even asked her if we could move when I found out they were setting up a band (so it wouldn't be so damn crowded), and I even tried helping her out when it came to getting us more or less "out of the way", which is clearly what she wanted midway into the night. She kinda just smiled and nodded, and ignored any advice I had on the matter.

Chill the **** out, Espy.
We got a 5 or 6 game winning streak on League that night.
Cool.
Beros already addressed it bluntly enough: Sabrina's priorities have changed. If I go to her place from here on out, it's just to hang out with her, which as of now is pretty low on my priorities.

I didn't mind the band itself, nor did I really care about that guy getting squarely in front of the TV while we played. In fact, if you paid any attention, I was laughing about it because I found it hilarious. The party, for all intents and purposes, was okay in and of itself. I had a good time being around everyone. The problem was that she completely went back on something she promised us, and when she finally DID provide it, it was awful.

That being said, I was also a little let down because our guest was promised some good games of Brawl while he was there, and the settings just didn't allow for such a thing to happen.

**** her pool.
That would've been the best thing EVER if it happened. :applejack:

I see, And you were expecting a woman to be competent and/or thoughtful?
And that is a bit of an arse move to be honest, she should have let you know beforehand that **** was gonna be...well...****

It was a 'k chill out and all, but circumstances that Von was a visiting Smasher kinda needed us to prioritize Brawl for his sake, hospitality and all. Only things that were made frustrating was the crowding in the garage, and then the waiting on the backyard patio when we they were about to put the patio off limits past midnight.

It would've been great if Nike jumped into that pool... I was waiting for it so badly.

Ah, That and we were playing on laggy TV's, she eventually told us to move outside to play. We did, then as soon as we were about to set up everything since we got the stuph from Nike's car and such, she told us to leave.

Another reason why it wasn't very fun, I had fun playing Airbrush though... despite the laggy TV's.

NOBODY TECHS THAT!!!

She usually tries to have us out by certain times, usually midnight or two.
The last party we had at her place, we tried moving everything outside so we'd be out of the way, and she said it was okay to do that.

Then after we had gotten pretty much everything out of Nike's car and the like, she told us that we couldn't use the spot we were gonna use.

It was an awkward scenario. :applejack:
