I feel bad about this one. Not because I lost to Shinobi again (ok well yeah that too, lol), but because I did horrible compared to what I COULD have done.
I conceived what I should do to beat Shinobi before this. But when I played him, I was totally out of focus and I played pretty badly. They were recording the matches, and I knew they were. I was tripping over myself, and
consciously thinking/stressing about how bad I must look and how my poor playing will look if people were to watch me vs. Shinobi online. Because of this real-time self-reflection, I couldn't think of much else and used very little of my aforementioned strategy (if any strategy at all). However, later after the tournament I played Shinobi again when my mind was clear & calm, emphasizing my new strategy, and it worked. Well. Every match of the 3 matches we played.
In fact I wish
those matches had been recorded, so I could study them and figure out the details and set-ups even better. I'm confident I won't learn **** from what TAG got.
