It wasn't a major; it was a SOUTH AUSTRALIAN (my god I didn't throw up) tournament with added Attila, Ted, Dekar & Toki.

For one, there were no prizes.
For two, I wasn't there.
For three, I wasn't there.
And for four (I just wanted to do that one), SA sucks, I just provided proof (again).

When Super Smash 4 comes out the scene will be back to the way I remember it only bigger.

When I first joined it was fun and games seeing who was the best and ****. Nowadays (Or... 'Then-a-days' around when I left) it was all about who can break the game the best like when I wanted to play DK apparently the only option is to go Dedede not mentioning any names.

I really, really hope Sm4sh can be patched so things like infinites are removed.

Although if Isaac from Golden Sun isn't in it then **** Sakurai to hell!

Unfortunately, when money is involved thats the way it is :/

I, personally, don't think I'd enjoy Brawl as much without the gay **** in a way. Fighting ICs is fun because of the ridiculous punishes they get; whenever there is a close-call it gets your blood pumping.

And Meta Knight can beat all of Puff's approaches with Shuttle Loop; I like that I have to try and overcome that defecit by out-smarting the other player to win the MU.

I don't know if you've heard, but Namco/Bandai are helping to make SSB4, so there is a pretty high chance that imbalances will be patched out That's assuming the game is poorly balanced in the first place though; Brawl had awful balance because Sakurai was the only one who tested it. SSB4 will be tested much more thoroughly before release for sure.

Ah, that's good to know.

I didn't know Sakurai was the only one to test. I think he did a reasonably good job. I mean, he can't foresee years of competitive play. But like, if Brawl was made patchable it wouldn't be much a problem. Though if Sm4sh is balanced from the start.. well, that's great.

Anyways.. Sm4sh still has a long way to go. So! Grim 'Mason' Tuesday.. The first time I play you, assuming it happens one day, I will play Isaac and you will play Jigglypuff and it will be a $1 MM. Remember this challenge!

Unless of course... Isaac isn't in Sm4sh in which case I just might be in prison for 20 to life for killing Sakurai. But if you're willing to wait 20+ years I'll play Megaman instead.

Don't even get me started if Isaac AND Megaman aren't in it.

Oh I don't think I'll be using Puff, Desert "Stephen" Eagle

I have a lot of ridiculous characters I wish would make it in that I'd probably main (Yoshimitsu from Soul Calibur and Tekken, Marina Liteyears from Mischief Makers, Vic Viper from Gradius and Starman from Earthbound to name a few)

I don't really like any of the character's currently in Smash (except for Link, but I hate his Brawl playstyle lol), so I've always chosen my main based on playstyle rather than how much I like the series.

You'll be happy to know that I support the inclusion of Isaac and Megaman

Yeah, I also picked my main based on playstyle. Like I haven't played a whole lot of Star Fox or Donkey Kong. I convinced myself that Olimar or Pokemon Trainer would be my main on release and well.. that wasn't even close to happening.

But hopefully I can stick to Isaac if he makes it in. Why he was made an assist trophy is just a kick in the balls.. But I'll be fine with Matthew aswell.

Glad that you support Megaman too. But I can't say I recognize any of the characters you've mentioned. :3

We have two tournament venues; MK is banned at StreetGeek to try and promote character diversity and better overall game knowledge (before the ban; 3 of our top players mained MK and many more used him as a secondary).

However, Meta Knight is legal at GameQuest tournaments so people still have an opportunity to get competitive experience in the MU; and to be fair to DoMo - who doesn't really enjoy Brawl with MK banned.

On top of that, we use MK in singles and doubles friendlies frequently, and he is legal whenever I hold tournaments at my house (which is the most frequent place for meets).
