Even the smartest people around here have literally no idea how forums function.
Words are censored on forums by a list in the administrator control panel, aka the ACP. It turns words into something else, but only those words put into the list.
They obviously didn't include every "bad" word thousands of times to include colour and formating tags put between the letters, which the forum will read as that word with the tag in between because the ACP still interprets the tags as text.
