About what.

I'm usually the one trolling the idiots/newbies who think every champion is "broken".

No, I know what fox trotting is (lol, ssb64 player ;o). You know how each character has a pivot animation from a dashing? Just doing it back and forth as quick as you can without doing brawl's crappy dash dance.
This is new? :<

I think it was something about kat/shaco. Lol shaco nerfs.
IIRC, I've never said anything about Kat on the forums.

I may have "complained" about one Shaco nerf, not knowing Riot was only fixing bugs associated with Madred's Bloodrazers and other item procs on his clone. Besides those fixes, I'm adamant in my position that he doesn't need any direct nerfs right now. He was FREE the week everyone began complaining about him. I did make a troll thread saying something along the lines of "I didn't buy wards so I GOT KILT. NERF PLOX." <- sarcasm.

The only difference between new Shaco and old Shaco (at the time nerfs were announced, before they nerfed his clone's damage to towers, and after they fixed the item procs on his clone) is that Stark's Fervor began stacking on himself, which wasn't an indirect buff large enough to bring him from F/D tier up to "OMG SO BROKEN PLEASE HOTFIX" tier. I found that silly.

ANYWAYS, back to Brawl talk. ;S

i agree with gimpyfish. on stage, i think oli is easily top 3. but because of how gimpable he is hes hella lower. as far as if hes better than the characters above him, im not too sure.

I believe that Olimar has the potential to be generally better than Snake or Diddy.
It just takes too much energy to maintain his optimum play-style.

But Snake has the advantage of being 1000x heavier than Olimar and being able to cypher high and if he gets caught low he can C4 recover as a last option. Olimar just needs a little tap for his light frame to be thrown offstage, get his dj taken away, and get edgehogged.

Oli isn't completely helpless offstage. He can b reverse, and wac. The only time he's instagibbed is if he's below the stage.

oli isnt tottaly helpless off stage just more than most lol

i think oli should be top, the bottom of top tier tho but i do think we can get him there if ppl can keep thinking and getting better and learning new things. Then i think olimar has the potential (a hella lot more to learn!!) and can be very near top because there are so many untappped things unlike most of the top tiers now (it seems like)

Save your jump until you get about stage height. Practice using your whistle immediately after your second jump so you don't get hit out of your jump and you don't fast fall the whistle or have downward momentum right after it. When you jump, whistle. When you whistle, jump.

Why has this piece of information slipped my mind!? As much as I'm improved my "not getting gimped" game, getting hit immediately after my second jump is part of what got me eliminated yesterday (curse your aerial mobility Wario...). I can't believe I haven't been doing this already. All these little tips I read when I didn't know how to play Olimar and now don't remember when I'd know how to put them to use :( Maybe I need to go read Deflowered and see if I missed anything the first time...

And oh yea, tourney didn't go so well, mostly because of dumb mistakes, like side B'ing instead of tether when I got hit off stage. Won my first match, lost the next two because of mistake; I know I'm better than the guys because after the tourney I beat them both consistently, but I guess tourney pressure just got to me :/

**** happens vocal. just keep your head up. as long as you know youre a better player now than you were at the beginning of the tourney, thats whats important. :)

Yea, that's what I keep reminding myself; even though I didn't make it as far as I believe I should have, I still got a lot of great practice and got to watch some great matches, so the day was a success in the long run :)

I've been knocked out of tournaments because of this before. Don't sweat it.

jk... RAGE! XD
I didn't rage, I'm not that guy. No - I SEETHED :mad088:

But also, I gained a great idea out of the day, which almost alone made it worth it. I usually play well against Diddy already, but I just discovered a way to do even better :D It may not be new, but it's new to me lol :) So we all know how he hops into the air backwards to throw out his bananas, right? Well, since I know this is coming, I usually try to catch the banana with a nair; however, when I try to do this, i sometimes get hit by a second banana. Yesterday I just decided to start uairing Diddy when he goes for it instead :) (This was on BF) That way I get him out of the way, and then I still get the nana. I also adapted it to more flat stages; on FD, if I know he's about to pull out two nanas, if I try to pick up the first I'm gonna eat the second to the face, so instead I just run up and start fsmashing. One fsmash blocks the nana throw and the one immediately after hits Diddy as he runs in for what he thinks is a guaranteed combo :) I think Diddy and Snake are my favorite high tiers to fight (behind DDD of course)
