So I'm apparently getting an Xbox360 for Christmas. Anyone have any recommendations on games? I'm not getting Kinect (lol) or Xbox Live either.

dead space 1 (2 comes out late january)
ninja gaiden 2 (old but still awesome if you want a hard action game)
bioshock 1 (1>2 imo)
dead rising 2 (must have!)
assassins creed 2 (first 1 is doodoo, haven't played brotherhood)
batman: Arkham Asylum
Fable 2 (or 3, but i haven't much good about it)
fallout 3 (new vegas hasn't been received nearly as good)
elder scrolls: oblivion (amazing game)
star wars force unleashed 1 (second was amazingly bad)
dark sector ( bargain bin FPS i loved)
halo wars (only RTS on the consoles that was good, idk if the online is still active enough to warrant getting)
super street fighter 4 (if you can deal with the xbox controller for fighting games)
battlefield bad company 2 (just amazingly fun online FPS IMO)
bayonetta (OMG AMAZING GAME, YOU WOULD LIKE THIS IF YOU LIKE DEVIL MAY CRY)
prototype (another good bargain bin game)
red dead redemption ( i personally dislike it, but most people love it)
mass effect 1 and/ or 2 (generically loved games, for a good reason, lots of replay-ability)
halo reach (pretty much the as other halos)
lost odyssey (bargain bin classic RPG)
lego star wars game (bargain bin games that are worth more than the price)
resident evil 5 (regular edition, gold isn't worth the price)
burnout paradise (free-roam driving game, not strictly racing)
borderlands (think diablo but as a FPS)
N+ (actually a game downloadable on the xbox arcade, extremely challenging, but thats why it is fun)
devil may cry 4 (bargain bin price game, pretty good)
Fifa soccer games/ NFL football games/ any sport games for a sport you like (generic sports games, you either like em or you don't)
infinite undiscovery (action-RPG better than it was reviewed, best aspect is the story, im kind of a fanboy over it :/)
The orange box (half life 2, portal, and team fortress 2 all in one)
peggle (downloadable xbox arcade game, definitely get the demo before buying)
shadow complex (another downloadable game, very similar to super metroid)
final fantasy 13 (love or hate RPG)
not all of these games are AAA titles, but they are all worth a shot, take your picks

BlackOps is okay, I have PC version (lol). They pretty much made camping impossible, which I suppose is good, except that I hate being a wreckless idiot that charges with guns ablazing.
Halo is weird.
