I'm going to laugh if said licensed Nintendo character turned out to be Captain N and not Geno.

She could just replace sheik. I mean sheik has been in only one game. At the time of melee, ganondorf also was also only in one game but has made more appearances since. It would make sense to give zelda and impa/sheik a down b and make impa her own character.

But of course a lot of people would be driven mad at the thought of it.

She's too skinny to be in smash. Why do you think Waluigi isn't playable yet?

With Krystal I was going more for something that would come naturally to her, and less strategy. With Bandana Dee, I was looking to make him a projectile/trap character. It's hard to please everyone considering half want one, and half want the other. I could try and mesh both together

I'm not quite following here. Every character needs some strategy.

Here's some interesting info for you guys. Impa's seiyuu, Atsuko Tanaka, also does the voice of not only the Major, but Poison.

This caught me of guard. So the character roster for Brawl was pretty much decided BEFORE they even started developing the game? Damn, I wonder if the SSB4 character roster has already been decided since last year?

I don't even bring her up all the time. Besides, people where talking about characters much less likely, as Waddle Dee, Krystal, you name it. I thought I could try to bring up Impa without causing a fuss, yet people get irritated already by seeing me posting just one little post.

I think once we get a whole bunch of new blood in from the E3 2013 unveil, there will be much more people potentially receptive to the idea of Impa since those people have not been exposed to your Impa post blizkrieg in the past.

While I take offense to the Waddle Dee jab, Diddy Kong is right. He hasn't been propagating Impa nearly to the degree he has in the past. I still believe there is no reason for Impa to be playable when we have Sheik, but having a discussion it is not nearly as vomit inducing as Fire Emblem discussions have been for the entire month.

A re-occuring important character from Zelda replacing a old outdated - one off transformation character is more likely than stuffing full the Smash roster with Kirby and StarFox characters, which aren't nearly as big series as Zelda is in the first place.
