Afro and Ledge are the only one who would use MK....why this speculation of MK spams =/

im fine with the no double up rule. id just prefer for this to be confirmed, because it does change the line-up somewhat.

Well I sort of wanted to use marth in crews, but I guess I could use pokemon trainer. It would probably make the crew battles far more enjoyable to watch

Only thing this will affect is toshi might not use diddy.
So it's not that big a deal, and its stupid how you guys are still being idiots about the MK thing.
Now that Earl stopped we only have 2 real good ones, and conor is learning him and khoa uses every s tier.
Regardless If you use this rule I don't think I want to be in crews on principle that people are being stupid.

People should realize that this was Sydney's plan all along.
Make Melbourne feel guilty about using MK so we wouldn't anymore and that gives them an advantage. Sydney are clever like that, makes it look like they aren't really doing anything but are actually manipulating us to put us in a bad position.

okay you guys can double up on characters but, you're going to have to follow Legit American Crew Battle Tournament Rules:
1. First match starts off with stage striking from starters
2. Matches from there on have the loser pick what starter they want OR pick a counter-pick; which in that case the winner may change characters if they wish (still a counter pick character situation).
3. That's pretty much it.

This means that I'll be able to use meta knight, marth and dedede whilst I single handedly take out the entire melbourne crew.

another rule should be if you dont take damage on your stock, you dont lose it.
like JV 2 stock = you have 2 stock next match.
would stop stuff like kirby swallocide etc.
also i think it can be slightly more intense, coz they need to get the kill then hit them.

Just use our usual crew rules with my time out rule.
only change characters if you want a counter pick stage.
Why does melbourne hate this so much?
Most of your players are too scared to ever leave smashville so I don't see why you guys would hate it so much. Gives you guys options when we want to take you to somewhere fancy though
It works well everywhere else ;\ As in Sydney and the united states
The reason I like it is because it gives more depth and strategy to just "next player who does well against the winner's character or something".
One character usage doesn't represent the skill of an individual when considering an entire scene / multiple matches. Some of us use multiple characters in tournaments and do well because of it.

At genesis you COULD change character if they took you to a counter pick stage.

I thought changing character if they want a CP stage was standard practice.. people making out like it's weird or something, hasn't it always been that way?
