Regional Crews at Apex 2: Atlantic North

Also is JuneBug eligible? My thoughts on crews is that the best crew may not always have the best player, but the best TEAM.

There was a draft crew battle a while back in so cal where stauffy went up against JonT's DDD, 1 and 3 stocks respectively. Because Lucario was extremely brolific due to stock loss, Stauffy brought it to last hit last stock before getting baired.

I have no idea how JB compares to the rest of your region, but having a good Lucario is almost a necessity imo

Actually, Rich's post just made me realize something. Imo, June could go over Candy, or fill a third spot in the Malcolm/Meep tossup. Lucario isn't a necessity, but having one is helpful.

Also, NL or Jash?

Olimar is a very fragile crews character, but like in a regular singles match can be devastating if someone doesn't know the MU or the Oli is good enough to really get off.

At Genesis crews last year (which didn't finish lol) I came in against vex (I can't remember if he had 2 or 3 stocks) and beat him, then ADHD came in against my 2 stocks and I got him to last stock. Both players are quality players but at the time they just didn't know the MU very well.

On the flipside there have been times where I've gone in and gotten ***** on one stock and gimped on the other 2 looool

So it can be quite an all or nothing gamble.

Ya rich, at that point I didn't know the olimar matchup at all, but when somebody does know the matchup, its really hard for olimar :/

That's my list right now, I suppose... Junebug and Nairo (especially Nairo) might be unreliable in a crew battle format, given the pressure and all that, so I'm unsure on them.

Snakeee, Cable, Jash, and a few others are also strong contenders.

Nairo is probably better then both Candy and June, but not Chu.

Do we get alts for this? If so I'd suggest Nairo as an alt simply because of his weakness? to Wario and IC's, but he could greatly help vs West Coast, considering they don't really have players that use those characters.

If just talking about put candy on over nairo cuz candy is better, then i disagree.

also Nairo just plays for himself and isn't playing to impress anyone. he beats who he beats. he doesnt care about the pressure because he won't have none.

Yep, totally. So many people think MD/VA is amazing. I mean, they managed to almost beat PA, so I guess that's something.

It seems like MD/VA's pride (based on little at this point) is going to gay up these threads again.

We're already definitely using ChuDat and probably using Junebug and you're a solid contender. There's NO WAY we'd be using as much MD/VA as NY/NJ when NY/NJ has a much bigger population and is much better right now. Sorry.

Atomsk was upset again in doubles and took 2nd instead of 1st (a pity I wasn't with him to take our guaranteed 1st in your region as usual) and Ally and ADHD took top two. Atomsk got 5th in singles? He lost to NEO (first time out of many sets) and a PA player. MD/VA had a gigantic numbers advantage and still didn't take 1st or 2nd, although I do give props to Korn/June in teams...but letting PA take 3rd is a bit embarrassing. Squall/Kingtoon lost to GIMR/Izumi, lmao. Step it up.
