When I use shield breaker, I do SH F-Air -> Shield Breaker. If I wanna land behind them I use a B-Air so I turn around haha

It takes just a TINY bit more than 2 uncharged shield breakers to break a shield (the tiny bit is them shielding in reaction to you attacking, and also the little bit of shield lost while they're in shieldstun AFTER the shield breaker).

It's far from "insignificant." It doesn't APPEAR to be much because the decrease in size isn't really dramatic, but I gurantee you if they have less than half of a shield left then a shield breaker will break it.

Kind of like a crossover, he hits their sheild goes all the way through. Then he returns to his neutral positon and its right in front of the opponent.

If you do manage to break a shield, fully charged shieldbreaker is typically your strongest attack (if it's on a low ceiling level you MAY wanna go with fully charged d-smash on floatier characters I guess <_<). If you happen to get a shield break at low percents, just setup up a nice long combo (I like to start with dair->grab->****, or dair->uptilt. No crouch cancel for you!)

fox can kill another fox with a fresh up smash at exactly 86%, no di, on fd.

marth can kill fox with a fresh tippered down smash from the front at 93%, no di, on fd..... and i believe the same percentage from behind though being a little weaker, so i want to say 94%.

the shield breaker is more powerful at the tip, damage wise and in terms of breaking shields.

Hahaha ooooh DarkSonic, u hungry?

You did **** me last tourney.

But before that we've always been pritty even.

The only reason Skrach beats me 90% of the time is because I let him. If i didn't let him win he'd never beat me. I do it to boost his confidence.

I lose to people in tourney by 2-3 stocks who I've gone even with in friendlies for 3-4 years, like yourself. I'm a terrible tourney player.

I'd say the fact that we've gone about 50/50 in our millions of friendlies over the past 3-4 years is a much better scale of our comparative skill levels then like 6 tourney sets. But thats just my opinion. :)

Anyway just to clarify I was obviously just ****ing around with Skrach. He beats me like 90% of the time in friendlies and 100% of the time in tourneys!

I don't know, I like to pride myself on being a decent tourney player (most of the time), cause I don't crack under pressure as often as most people do.

But yeah, we go pretty even. I just like gloating

Yeah I figured <_<

my shield breaks more than everybody I play with

also I won a critical teams match by shieldbreaking a puff

chexr broke my shield with roy in a $5 money match then killed me with fully charged flare blade.

This thread is the ****.

I like to hang on the edge while somebody is trying to recover, and do fancy shield breaker from ledge tricks.

I'd have to say the easiest setup is throwing someone on a platform, then poke their shields from below with shield breaker, guess right twice and it's a stock.

i broke my partner's shield in teams friendlies the other day. He was playing peach and getting 2v1ed, rolled towards me and i jumped with a neutral B to get them off and hit his shield (which was weak from getting pressured)

obviously i charged another one to punish myself for hurting my partner :D

I broke cosmo's shield in doubles tournament, at the same time eighteenspikes (his partner) got edge hogged by my partner (bzoo). I got to charge a full neutral b to kill cosmo.
