I'm sure a lot of you embrace this thought already but I like the way my friend Greg puts it and if one person benefits from it, cool!

The only match you lose is one where you don't learn anything.
And my little addition to that is, and one where you lose your temper.

Crews are the only exception! (Pride / **** Talking Rights, son)

Not expecting responses outside of "don't get hit" jokes but feel free to say whatever.

I like your philosophy. I believe I would be a better player today if I had adopted this long ago instead of just playing for fun (but hey, there's nothing wrong with that either lol).

I always play to learn i'm not good enough yet to play to win.

I think there are no impossible match-ups other than when it's impossible to hit them no matter what you do.

I have a similar mentality nowadays; I tell myself to take every loss as a learning experience and not to be too hard on myself.

For over two years of going to tourneys, I would often get nervous about my performance and I would get frustrated when I felt like I wasn't playing well, which would only make me play worse. I had a really big issue with this early this year, during which time I played consistently poorly for a few months and would always get upset because I felt that I should have been better than I was. It really has only been in the past several months when I've gotten over this sort of thing. I don't particularly mind if I lose anymore; if my opponent beat me, than he played better, and congrats to him; it isn't the end of the world if I lose a set and I'll always have more opportunities in the future.

I think the phrase would be "There are no bad characters, only bad players".
But we all know that isn't true.
What the hell, this isn't what ICG was saying at all.

You're being less reasonable than ICG, that's amazing to me.

Seriously, I figured ICG was talking about instances like ganon vs falcon on hyrule... Lol
yeah that or like kirby/peach vs someone on KJ64. also brinstar is terrible.

also as for bad charcters? I think there only like 4 good charcters in the game the rest suck from gannon and down and the rest are decent.

so more than likly you picked a crapy charcter WTF marth mains miss you get hit or if they counter your hit. he lacks super retardedlike safe moves that make the rest really good. he starts fair walling you projectile or get under him or wreck his spacing and profit. way easier than against puff.

I swear that this is the opposite of what happens, at least with me; I always watch my videos and think to myself "**** I'm actually moving faster than I thought I was."
