Melee was/is good because it is more balanced than Brawl is and ever will be.

Sure, you'll get people like Chu Dat, but I bet you'll find 10 of those people in Brawl for every Chu in Melee.

Melee is so boring without Zac. I want him back. Josh and Sloth too. Maybe if ben tried abit harder at melee... Actually jigs is getting there. Lacks general combos though. Id beat you in a ditto ben

Havent posted in a while guess thats why i want to say alot.

I want brawl+ to be our main stream game... So much better Refreshing + Entertaining. Nobody is willing to put the effort in though. (Hypocritical i know)

I like to play Brawl all Daaaiii.
I'm free Friday so I guess I could have you over at mine for a while DJ.

Only thing is that you'd probably have to bail by about 8:30 because my parents are old and like to go to sleep ridiculously early.

If somebody else (Chris?) that can fit more people and doesn't mind hosting that may be a good idea. I dunno. As long as I can get more Brawl in I'm happy (or Melee, whatever works).

I wanna play Brawl with Chris to see if my Brawl training has paid off any (And Melee with Ryan).

I played a bit of Brawl with Doug the other day and his wolf is still too good so I dunno ;P

While we're suggesting games for mainstream I suggest we start playing Blazblue as our main stream game.

So much better Refreshing + Entertaining. Nobody is willing to put the effort in though. (Haven't even bought the game yet lol!)

brawl + is fun but theres something gay about it, idk, maybe it's just because i only play it with my friends who don't play smash all that often. they seemed to be set on making certain characters good while others got ignored, ganon and falcon are awesome in brawl+ but some other characters like mario / peach / even some of the higher tier chars like DDD and and snake seem unchanged.

characters that were meant to be fast are now a million times faster and can combo, and characters who were meant to be strong are now a million times stronger. bowsers down B can KO at like 50% lol. the rest of the cast just stick to their same old regular brawl play, but can gimp way better than before. Edit: oh yeah and jiggs can combo into rest super easily / luigi can combo into his up b which is also fun.

I like melee too much but don't get to play it much. doesnt help having nowhere really to play on the GC.

watch armada finals matches. so epic. never seen a peach platform combo with uair like that.

it's only for a year, I'd still rep gold coast smash because I'd be comming back to the gold coast very often. But I don't even know if it would be happening yet. have to wait and see how enrolling and courses go for next year.

edit: and plus its near bobs house so I'd be able to help with carting TV's around for tournies.

I updated the first post a little bit.

There's an issue with Gencon. It conflicts with Animania, and both of these events could potentially bolster the attendance at SQUAT V.

So I'm probably going to go host something at Animania while the others are at Gencon.
I'm sure we'll figure out something ;S
